Books over a thousand years old are interesting. The Papyrus of Ani and of Leyden, The Bardo Thodol by a pile of leaves, The Diamond Sutra of Hui Neng.

Heroes:

Lucifer, the original rebel and the bringer of light who gave the fire of the gods unto men. The only angel brave enough to criticize the Creation, and for this, eternal damnation and defame of character? Preposterous!
God is Mad. The Creation was an accident. The Universe is a prison. The only meaning to life is a door.
The nature of the universe is predatory. You will never find peace in a world where the price of existence is eternal warfare.
Who would not have eaten of the fruit of knowledge and terminate a life of bestial ignorance in the garden of Eden? Would you want to run around naked in a garden of dirt like an animal without understanding of good and evil nor your own sexuality? The path of knowledge is the serpent's way. The Christian mythology contains within it the seeds of its own self-immolation.
The concept of original sin is just a guilt trip spit out by the oligarchy in an attempt to create a false sense of unpaid debt to the Church.
