About Me

I'm my father's daughter, in every sense. I grew up with music engulfing every little aspect of my soul and being, constantly being exposed and exhillerated by my father's nearly perfect pitch and beyond amazing musical ear, and my mother's beautiful voice. When I was 6 years old, I bought a crappy little electric organ from a garage sale. From that point on, I was a musical hermit. During the summers, when I was not in school, my mama would have to tear my little fingers off of the ivories just so that I could eat. The long and short of it is that music has always been who I am. It is what I am. It is my core.I went on to study music at the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. I received a bachelor's degree in musical arts, with a focus in piano, voice, and composition.all of what you hear in "The Truth Is", is me...piano, vocals, and harmonies.in "An Iris Fascade", it's me on piano and vocals and Danny Milne on bass.in "lies" it's me on piano and vocals and danny milne on bass.
