Reggie “Yung Bishop†bishop Jr is one of few real Atlanta, GA natives left, born and raised in South West Atlanta. Only child of his Mother and oldest Grandmother brought young Reggie up around music mostly Gospel and 70S/80'S R&B and funk. His older cousins always played music by Outkast, Kilo, 2pac, and goodie mobb at family cook outs while he still in elementary. Reggie and His family later moved to the city of Sandy Springs, where he attended North Springs high school. It was in high school when he began to write songs daily in class hoping that he could stand on his own lyrically in the lunchroom during the daily freestyles sessions by the upper classmen. It was not until his last year of high school when he began to publicly display his lyrical talents to his classmates and close friends.
After graduating from Lithonia High school in 2006 Bishop
Attended Bauder College to studying fashion merchandising and Commercial Wardrobe styling. His decision to study fashion was a made because of long time love Fashion and always focusing on the new trend that kids out of state and even out of the country where doing and would put a laid back southern spin to it. The event that really gave the world their 1st look into who Reggie Bishop the rapper is was his 1st show on August, 18 2007 joined with his good friends and fellow Atlien’s Supreeme Supreeme at his former job in the street wear boutique Addikt Workshop were he was both the sales manger and assistant buyer. But music is has always been his full time job and first career choice to entertain the youth of America along with inspiring him the same way he was by other hip-hop artist and become the face of southern hip hop.
