..This Bay Area (Vallejo CA) bred kid has burst into the comedy scene practically overnight. DC Ervin has gone from: open mics, to emceeing, and from feature act, to headlining in a matter of months. DC Ervin has had the privilege of featuring for the likes of DL Hughley, Katt Williams, (Money Mike) and Alonzo Bodden. Hes also performed at college campuses from the West coast to the East Coast. His style is versatile; he delivers realities that can be felt by all ages, races and genders. DC Ervin loves to interact with the audience to keep the crowds interest, but dont let his handsome baby face fool you, he is quick to humble any heckler. Always needing to please his audience, his first gigs started when he was a kid; performing in sold out classrooms and smaller venues such as the principals office. DC has never been shy, and has always found a way to perform in any situation. Finally, realizing that his calling was to make people laugh; he jumped on stage and fell in love with stand up comedy. Although he is funny as can be, when hes not on stage, he can be found in the classroom earning his Bachelors Degree in business management. However, that serious school boy is quickly humbled when his two daughters step in the room. Theyre also in the business of comedy; making Daddy laugh. DC is seasoned at entertaining his crowds, I guess you can say that its in his blood. His father was a comedian for 20+ years before passing the mic to his son. Mingling with the likes of Richard Pryor, Robin Williams and the late Robin Harris, his father is still respected by various comedians. Like his father, DC is gaining that same respect. This guy is becoming a request at major clubs throughout the comedy circuit. DC Ervin is not a come see, but a must see!
