About Me

I'm a self educated computer technician and all-around geeky guy.I guess my main "talent" is that I'm smart. Not smart like Einstein, smart like MacGuyver o/. I'm good at solving problems. It also means I can be funny and grants me a rapier wit, but at times something funny I say results in blank stares from others who don't make the connection. It makes me responsible (when I need to be) and lends to making me do fairly well at anything I apply myself to.I'm lazy when I can be, determinably unstoppable when I need to be. I'm self conscious but not self centered. I worry about almost everything, but only those closest to me would ever notice it. I think too much, yet come across as absent minded. In some ways I'm a typical guy, in many others I'm a freak. I want more out of life, always. I'm honest, sometimes to a fault, and have found that often being honest with yourself can be a mixed blessing.I don't much follow sports, I'm not into cars or motorcycles or bull riding. I like music, I like art, though I create neither. Mostly I enjoy intelligent conversation, unique and talented bands/singers/artists/writers, and good friends to enjoy the above with. I'm a geek -- I like video games, sci-fi, fantasy, reading, RPG games, playing cards, etc. But I also love the outdoors and go hiking, camping, and go on float trips or canoeing a lot in the summers.I'm a bit of a loner, whether by choice or necessity I can never really decide. Most people like me, but don't "get" me.
