Spiros Pontikakis A.K.A Shean was born and raised in Athens/Greece. Since a really young age,having his parents "music" support,he involved and loved music.having by his father an amazing and big collection of 12" disks,he discovered the 60's the 70's n' 80's.that was the time he decided to play classic guitart,and to learn about music.
At his 14 years old he was already making his studys for the diploma of classical guitar music and finishing the last class of music harmony.He was also playing at the local area conscerts.
Almost at the age of 15 years old the eletronic music was coming out a lot into Greece,and many people were into that kind of styl.So Shean loved that kind of music ,and how he was saying that music was the absolute freedom of composing without any "attidute rules" f.e "Barok"..
His favourite Dj's at this time,meaning his insipration was :
Sasha,CAttaneo,Perry O' Neil,Moby,Digweed e.t.c..
At the age of 21 years old,he started his studys on the digital,analog music production and as a sound engineer at the "Middlesex University of London".And at last at the age of 22 he created with MeVmO the "Soundmakers Project".. After some while Shean, MeVmO and a new band member(MeVmO's brother) Mikie started to produce all together,having already some ready songs that will be released this september..
Also having a big music experience,Shean as a Dj Performer has a special way to mix,having as a luxury to create bootleg mixes,to find and play unreleased tracks,Soundmakers tracks and having all the electronic genres of dance music played in a night. That's why Shean already made some big Gigs with his name and now with the SoundMakers project name,with really big n famous Global n Greek dj's,such as Watanabe,Terry Lee Brown JR,G-pal,mikele,viton,Liberto,amx,Dousk, e.t.c..

MeVmo
Manos Evmorfiadis ( MeVmO ) was born in 1986 at Athens/ Greece Raised in his natal country.He made a study of fashion shoe design and by now working at GUCCI Group,Sergio Rossi and Yves Saint Laurent as a head chief designer .MeVmO maid 3 years of architecture university study not being able to finish though.not enough time...
MeVmO started listening music in a very general way, but it was in his very early teen age years when he got deeply involved and started to dedicate himself to his first instrument (electric guitar).
At his 13 years of age he was interested in different music genres such as metal, rock, jazz , soul .... etc. etc... . Down this line, and being a self-taught musician, he made one or 2 songs of his own and this is how he realized that playing a instrument was not enough and wanted to |create| music also. Unfortunately for Metal, you need a band , and he never found d right people to work with, to complete the band and satisfy his wish of compose some metal rock melodies .
With the time, he inclined more into Electronic music, and was with a friend (who was already in the scene as DJ), how after MeVmO have took a look into this job,he discovered he could make music by just himself .
So with no doubt he started to get involved in d "Shiny DJ World " . He bought his own equipment as fast as he could , and after some time, MeVmO showed a very good skill manipulation on turnables with a great taste on his music selections that makes this young boy able to give people a very nice time on dance floor.
Last year MeVmO started in a more serious way his productions alongside one of his best mates " DJ SheaN " making the project : : .:.° SOUND MAKERS °.:...
I have to thank Shean for dj'ing/mixing with me..Stel for his intrest,Tanua n' Dj KST for this great support,Consould Trainin and TopFm for this Amazing promotion and of course TPL for making me "BE" a dj.... Mikie is my brother and i thank him for making me realize the true life...love ya bro.

Mikie
Mikie or else Mike Evmorfiadis was boarn in 1984 at Athens/Greece.Mikie is also the brother of MeVmO(manos)
Mikie is studying computer since at Crete(Greek island) and he is involved into music since 1995.He was first listening to metal and rock rythms and a little time ago to grudge tunes.
4 years ago he maid his first steps into playing music having an electric guitar..that wasn't his pation at the end..he always wanted to produce and to wright lyrics, but since the guitar wasnt his andvantage he left it unused.
almost 2 years ago seemed enough to make a complete song.he attempted to make some songs of basic rock sounds combined with Mikie "madness" of lyrics he had a really good result..
After some time Mikie accepted the electronic music,and he listened to it!So after some "lessons" on the decks and in the history of electronic music,he started to get involved with it..that didn't happened a long time from today.
Mikie is the brother of MeVmO,so he tried to combine his experiance,with the SoundMakers..the project that Shean and MeVmO did a year ago..Of course the already existed SoundMakers accepted his offer to "try".The result was amazing.....

Alessandro Anastasi was born the 10th of September 1987 in Rimini (Italy), and since the very first years of his life he shows a great feeling with music probably due to the knowledge his parents already had in music itself.
He studied bass guitar for 5 years, and meanwhile he also performed several gigs with his band. After the "High School" period, Alessandro began to study Economics and finance at the Bologna University pushing aside his band which was later split up for music divergency.
Though he wasn't "on the stage" anymore, he continued playing on his own untill he met a great friend of him who change his mind introducing Ale into Electronic music, finding no problem with softwares and showing an impressive abilty in learining them, thanks to a good knoledge of computer's world which has been taught him by his father since he was just a child.
After a "one week" trip in greece where he met the others SM's guys, and an whole winter spent composing songs with MeVmO; he finally joined the great SoundMakers family....and the best is yet to come!!!
I would like to thank all my friends...especialy those who have been supporting me and keep on giving me inspiration everyday; my family for bearing me every time especially my bro. Spiros and Mikie for all their precious advices and incitements..thank you guys!!! And last but not least...Manos..thank you for every thing bro!!!

The style witch SoundMakers sounds like is mostly progressive and electro..having always new sounds to feel our songs.
Our biggest influences are actually the progressive house producers such as james holden or V-Sag or Tone Depth or Christian Cambas..those persons have the gift to pass to the listener the feeling of their song..that's what we're trying to do..
Our songs have been played into many venues around Greece n' Italy and also in a radio station in Greece..having a 6 hour set in total(made in too days) with an interview about us and our goals..
Our Future plans have been always to release some songs of ours..as it seems we're going to have shortly a release for your disc case..
SoundMakers are also the dj booking manager/resident dj's of Krystal for the 2008 season party's,anybody who's interested with dj skills please do speak to us..cheers.Thanks for the support and we hope to see you into some event of ours.. Take care everybody.
