In 2002, Mike and Leah were discussing how they wanted to start a band that would allow Leah to shake her ass as much as she pleased and pay homage to the synth driven music they grew up listening to; while keeping some of the aggression of the punk music they loved so much in as well.
After purchasing a synthesizer, they began writing music. But, without any drums or programming knowledge, they did not get very far. This is where that hottie Sebastian stepped in, as it turned out he was very interested in being in a synth band and using his creative skills to help fill out the band.
So, throughout 2003 Leah, Mike, and Seb began writing songs. After many instrument replacements, upgrades, and scheduling rearrangements, Vulpes began working on perfecting our demo. So, in the fall of 2004 we finally began playing out. We also have Vulpes Tshirts available, and our demo has sold out for now, but we are currently working on re-vamping and writing additional songs for an upcoming album.
