VISUAL KEI FOR THE UK!!!

About Me

I have a great family - a wonderful daughter, mum and a little cat.I've played bass guitar since I was 14, and piano since about the age of 9. Music's always been a way of life for me; the instruments I play are like chalk and cheese - bass is great to play by ear, it needs a band to make it sound good. It's my ambition to become part of a band who not only plays great rock music but also cares about image onstage - it's rare these days! I've been in plenty of bands including Spellbound who were quite well known in Southend in early 1990's! Piano on the other hand of course can sound fine as a solo instrument. In recent years I've studied piano and music theory, done all my grade exams and have a Certificate in Music Education. So in a nutshell I love my music.

My Interests

Playing piano and bass, making sure my family are okay, going to gigs and concerts, going to Anime conventions with my daughter dressed in cosplay, meeting up with friends

I'd like to meet:

Ian Astbury - I nearly met him at a gig in Southend when he was there with the Holy Barbarians, I was 4 feet away and desperately wanted to talk to him but got starstruck! I'd like to meet James Dean Bradfield cos he's made of awesome, and I'd like to have bass lessons with Taiji of course!~ I'd like to meet all my wonderful friends on MYSPACE ~ you guys are awesome ~

Music:

X Japan, Mozart, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Manic Street Preachers <- best gig I've ever been to, Led Zep, The Cult, Keane, Feeder, Metallica, Yes, Gordon Giltrap, Elliot Minor, The Gazette etc... in fact anything that's good! Taiji, X Japan - my bass hero!..

Movies:

Amadeus, Kinky Boots, and I like daft ones that make me cry laughing like Mousehunt and Night at the Museum.

Television:

Don't seem to have time to watch it. When I do it's usually music TV, something like Jools Holland or the Classic FM channel or Kerrang!

Books:

I've far too many sheet music scores!

Heroes:

My mum, my daughter, Ian Astbury, Yoshiki Hayashi (THE creator of so many excellent things!), Taiji Sawada, John Paul Jones, Tony Wall, Eileen Hamilton (my music teacher from years ago - she's SO patient!)
