Lamentations of the Ashen is a project that i decided to begin guided by the desire to craft truly moving and melancholic black art. Lamentations is deeply personal and emotional music that is written with meaning and a will to challenge myself musically. Lamentations is not "influenced" by any bands existing in the black metal circle and it is not to be affiliated with any scene.This is not about Satan. This is not about cutting, suicide, or ignorant skinhead nonsense. I write this music strictly for myself and if you like it then I am happy that you are able to share in my musical journey.
