PEDRO PABLO RODRIGUEZ MIRELES

My name is Pedro Pablo Rodríguez Mireles. A was burn in Pinar del Río, Cuba , on February 14, 1976. When I was a child began to study music in my province, in the west of the isle. Them I continue musical studies at National Art School , in Havana. In this place I received a master degree as professor of percussion in 1994. In this year started to work in National Music School as teacher of this specialty. (Instrumentalist and group practice) I worked as professor in the Art Superior Institute and others centers, in Havana city. As instrumentalist I play the congas with Cabaret Parisién Orchestra. In 1998 began a tour promoting Cuban music in Japan , and teaching percussion classes. In my career in the isle I had the opportunity of accompanying singer Jorge Luis Rojas, with concerts all over the country, and other great musicians as José Luis Cortés, the directed of NG La Banda. I participated in many concerts in Cuba and Europe with José Luis Cortés and his prestigious orchestra NG La Banda , sharing stage with Paulo FG, Mayito Rivera, Roberto Guayacán, Haila, Andy Montañez, Candido Fabrés, Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco. I also assisted as instrumentalist to concerts with Guillermo Rubalcaba, Teresa Caturla, Rolo Martinez, singers of Roberto Fa Group, in Havana , Cuba . After I participated in concerts and tours by Europe with Pio Leyva, Amadito Valdés (members of the Buena Vista Social Club) and Juan Pablo Torres. I began my career in Spain in 2004. During this year I worked as a member of Big Band Latina of Creative School in Madrid. Started a tour an concerts accompanying the group “Son de Oro ”.Others concerts and presentations Concerts with Habana Blues Band. Concert with La Creativa “Bing Band” in las Vistillas , Madrid . Málaga Movie Festival. A television Gala in Castilla la Mancha , accompaning Ana Belén, Pastora Soler, Isabel Pantoja and others guests of Spain Culture. In many television shows in Spain such as “Sorpresa Sorpresa”. Concerts in some jazz clubs accompanying Joshua Ederman, Alain Pérez, Javier Masó. Presentations with “Son de Oro” and the group La Yé. Concert in Madrid Hippodrome with HABANA BIG BAND ORCHESTRA. The concert for the live earth rythms of the world with Reamonn in Hamburg , Germany . Summer tour with Habana Blues Band. Record presentation of Bnk in Madrid and a summer tour with BnK all over Spain . Summer concerts with HABANA BIG BAND directed by Alain Pérez Concert with Habana Blues Band, at Arena Hall in Madrid . Concert with Blanca Romero, in Madrid and Valencia. Concert with Kelvis Ochoa, in Clamores and Las Rosas. Record presentation of “En el aire”, of Alain Pérez, at Reina de Cuba and others places. Recording of “Back to Cuba ” of Emilio Aragón.Alain Pérez, at Reina de Cuba and others places. Recording with Bebo Valdés for a movie of Fernando Trueba Recording “Tres Palabras” of Manu Tenorio Concert with Andy y Lucas, in Madrid . Tour with Habana Blues all over Spain . Concerts with the Lagartos Amarillos,SANTA FE,Jose Luiz Rodriguez (El PUMA) in many stages of Spain Accompanying Javier Masó( Caramelo),Lulo Pérez, Boris Larramendis,TelMarys, Atanay Castro. Creation of the percussion group “Piapa”, as its director. Summer tour with the orchestra “Escala Royal” all over Spain . Promotion Campaigns with some trade marks such as: Mahou, Schweppes, Ballantines, Habana Club
