BETE NOIRE

Bete Noire started in early 2003 as a thrash/black metal project. It has evolved musically in many different ways since then. The first two demos', both self-titled were recorded in this year. Though, they sounded horribly produced, this was a big breakthrough at this point. The idea behind Bete Noire is not to make black metal, but to make music, for music should have no boundries. Nor is it about talent its about the beauty and emotion you feel. When 2004 came around, many songs from the first two albums were re-recorded and many more songs were written. The 3rd album was recorded titled "I Am the Black Beast". This album was to be melodic and unique but heavy. In this album, was based upon the relationship and differences between Bete Noire and the Black Beast, as well as creating a theory of the creation of the world bringing with it damnation and the end of the world. In later 2004, came the album Lunar Death. In sound, it was closely related to I Am the Black Beast, but the music was definately going in a different direction. It was technical and experimental, melodic and dark. THE TRAGIC STORY OF FROM HELL TO EARTH At the start of 2005, The Rawest and most satanic album Bete Noire released "From Hell to Earth". Though it was complete, the only copy of this album was stolen. Some tracks of the album were recovered but the album will never be heard again unless re-done. Late 2005 Bete Noire released the 6th album Xanadu. This album is the most melodic of them all. There are many heavy break downs but all clean vocals. There is not much to say about this album for most people will say its not even Bete Noire at all. Early 2006 came the incomplete album "Forgotten Souls". This album was to be a synth/drum instrumental album. Though some songs were added with guitar and vocals. This album was put on hold due to the Natten demo. The Completion date of this album should be early 2007 due to Agahnim. The Natten demo is the 4th Cd Natten Released. Natten is the drummer of Bete Noire's main band "Golgotha" melodic black metal. Natten is also a one man project, like Bete Noire.Forgotten Souls was put on hold for the best Bete Noire album yet. Agahnim: Palace of winds, Waker of Storms. The completion date of this album was Oct. 15 2006. An album where Natten (Golgotha) did guest vocals on two songs. December 2006 Forgotten Souls, was completed but never released, it was a pure failure. Maybe with a few adjustments, it would make a great album.Bete Noire is a one man project, all music and lyrics done by Bete Noire.SHOWS!!! Bete Noire aquired a drummer (Ian) and bassist (Agoryth) for show purposes only. There will be shows within a year.After the 5 year long tradition of 2 albums a year, Bete Noire has started on the first 2007 release "A Path to Purity and Darkness".
