Painted by the artist Jay Paul Apodaca/www.jaypaulapodaca.com Mariela I'V, the creator of VANITY M.I.V PRODUCTIONS. A Make-Up Artist and Fashion Stylist that also has developed into a fashion producer and creative director with an exposure in the arts, fashion, beauty, music and entertainment industry. Also known as A Artist & Entrepreneur. Out of this was created her production VANITY M.I.V PRODUCTIONS. She began a creative career as a Make-up Artist starting at the age of 18 in Denver, Co. working for AVEDA and then recruited by M.A.C Cosmetics. When working for M.A.C she pursued her education at Metropolitan State College of Denver for a bachelor’s degree in Communication Design and emphasis in photography. Originally, in the beginning she wanted to be a fashion photographer but after experiencing the photography life style, photo gallery shows, runway and print she learned to enjoy photography as a personal hobby and instead enjoyed being the creative director and producer. During her studies she worked for M.A.C for 5 years and then moved on in 2005. But to date she has been a Make-Up Artist or as she calls it a 3-d Artist for 10 years now. “This is my yoga, when I paint and create”. She has explored in working in fashion shows, photo shoots, print ads, film, music videos, body painting, special occasions and working for artists. In 2005 at her last days at M.A.C Cosmetics she began producing seasonal fashion events with Lotus Entertainment. In the mix she completed her Esthetician license at the Rita B Institute & received certificates in semi-permanent lash/brow extension and in peels which were completed in 2006. Then she began her career with 303 Magazine a local popular magazine as the beauty stylist and then escalating as the fashion stylist/creative director. At the same time in 2006 she recharged and produced fashion events with DC10 Entertainment. In the beginning she created a night titled as Flaunt and made events about fashion and music with DJ Kostas K/owner. Keeping up with the fast pace of working with 303 Magazine and her production, fashion has made its mark in Denver. In March 2007 she re-branded into VANITY M.I.V PRODUCTIONS, kicked it off with a tour with celebrity couture designer Adam Saaks of Ed Hardy Fashion in the hottest cities such as Miami, NY, Chicago, D.C. and Denver. Now she is living in the L.A. grind! VANITY M.I.V PRODUCTIONS a production about FASHION & BEAUTY but also of TALENT, ARTISTRY & MUSIC. Collaborating with other great artists and featuring new talent. Living a life style to create! *
