DeGrave

Digital Lo-Fi from Frozen Light

About Me

Dave DeGrave is a music obsessed non-musician. In 1967 he saw The Nice and immediately bought a bass guitar and, along with a couple of friends, formed Cthulhu which lasted for three performances. Ten years later, still unable to play, he switched to synthesizers and (while creating FX & visuals for The Neutronz and lighting Maggotts) organised Frozen Light, a loose collective of improvising musicians. This was bought to an end in the early eighties by illness. Fast forward to the late nineties when Dave discovered the joys of Cubase and virtual synthesizers. Since then he has spent his time creating a series of soundtracks from imaginary movies. Dave's "heroes" include Brian Eno, Peter Gabriel, Robert Fripp, JS Bach, Christian Vander, Tony Levin, Dave Stewart, Bill Bruford and Keith Emerson. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------...If you are still interested there are some tracks that did not make it onto albums available as free downloads at www.soundclick.com/degrave
