Indie outfit, following the same musical path of bands like Wilco, Bright Eyes or Sparklehorse, they use folk, pop and rock heritage to create their own sound and atmosphere.
Created in 1999 by Victor Pavy, the band saw many line up changes before finding the right musicians. But Saïbu finally found the balance it was looking for.
This is why after releasing two E.P., and the 2006 "Golden summer" single, Saïbu is getting more attention of the musical press each day.
Also becoming a solid live act, Saïbu successfully supported either french cult band Tanger and Syd Matters or major US indie icons Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Yo La Tengo.
The band is about to release a new single "Fingers From The Swamp", preview to a first L.P. to be released this summer.
