THE SONGBIRDS were originally formed by Junya (guitar) and his rock'n' roll friend, Yasuhide (vox, guitar) in January of 2008. A bass player Yosaku and a drums player Tagosaku joined the band a few weeks leter.
The band begun to play rock'n' roll heavily influenced by the greatest bands such as OASIS, THE BEATLES, HEAVY STEREO, THE SMALL FACES, RIDE, etc...
Because of their poor technic and laziness, Tagosaku and Yosaku were fired after 3 months.
A drums player Park, who is a good old friend of Junya and Yasuhide, joined the band as a replacement of Tagosaku.
