A Hot Hooray EP, full of nostalgic, dewdrop vocals and synthesized beats that seem a celebration unto themselves. -Flavorpill ------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------This Oly is one gal and she makes some lo-fi sweetie-tronica. A Hot Hooray is her debut release and despite its title, it's far from boisterous. It is light and perky though -- so maybe imagine a shy cheerleader's "Hooray!" That said, the third track "Intro Pieces, Parts, Puzzles - Swallow" with its wistful female vocals and slight abrasiveness brought to mind the recent stuff from Tujiko Noriko (Blurred In My Mirror) as well as Solex. Overall, methinks Oly would fit in very comfily on a show bill (or mixtape) with Casiotone For The Painfully Alone. Earnest, twee twinkliness composed in a bedroom setting amid a mountain of electronic keyboards. -Aquarius Records-----------------------------------------------------

--------------......she is able to create suprisingly warm, whimsical (some may use the word "cute") synth-pop songs w/ just her voice and a laptop. Her song "No Money Fun" has a child-like charm that even the biggest asshole cynics will have trouble resisting--Gorrilla vs Bear Blog--------------------------------------------------------

- IndiePopRock.net

---------------------------------------------Born in Los Angeles to Mexican parents and brought up in South Florida in the turbulent ‘80s, synth seamstress Oly’s musical diet has fluxed from her mother’s homemaking Yoko Ono musings, her sister’s Miami ghetto bass, her dad’s disco LPs, and her rock and roll explorations into punk and indie rock. Translating this into piano ditties finds a coy girl reflecting deeply personal emotions onto dreamy landscapes full of breeze and whim. -TransformOnline.com

--------Oly’s tone is sweet and lucid. Her delicate voice carves out abstract thoughts in subtle eclectic, stream-of-consciousness pop stylings. -Church of Girl ------------------------------------------------------------
