Though this critically acclaimed choir has traveled internationally, recorded commercially, and worked extensively with some of the most notable artists in the industry, its objective remains simply to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through song.
The Choir is funded annual by the Tennessee Baptist Missionary & Education Convention under the leadership of President Pastor Dennis Blalock of the New St. Luke Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee. The Choir Advisor is Pastor Andre Richardson a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and pastor of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Paris, Tennessee.
The choir is currently under the musical direction of Johnita Prince, a current Lane College Criminal Justice degree candidate from Chicago, IL.
The Choir Will be hosting a Black History Month City-Wide Tour that will take them across the West Tennessee Area to Various Churches beginning on January 17, 2008. This tour will lead the Choir into there National Tour beginning on February 27, 2007.
