The Basics:
My name is Cara. The "Car" part of my name is pronounced like "care" not like a "car" (hence why I get called CaraBear).
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. I was a devout Christian my whole life up until 2005 when I converted to Islam.
The Family:
I live with my husband 'Isa and my parents. I don't have any children yet, except for two step-sons, one of which I am yet to meet.
I love animals. Currently we only have a dog and two chickens, but we'll probably have more pets soon. We also feed some neighborhood cats, squirrels, and birdies, and we happened to discover tree frogs living in our backyard last year. My ideal pets are cats and snakes.

The person/character I identify most with is Neo.
It was once said to me "you would just save the whole world if you could, wouldn't you Cara?" This is so, so true. I care for others. Empathy is my middle name (not literally, silly, it's a term!).
I love humor... especially sarcasm. Anyone who can carry on some great witty banter is awesome.
I have a great appreciation for the arts, in all forms.
I love photography. I generally take 300 to 400 photos a week, sometimes more. I post photo blogs as often as I can.

In summary, I like to have fun and do things that make me feel good, while staying true to my values. I have heart for helping others. I love learning & exploring new things. I'm young and still trying to "find myself".
I have left our a bit about myself here that I normally include, but it is because I am trying to stick to the positive things here. If you read my blogs and get to know me, you'll see all of me in time.
Lastly I just want to say, pardon my typos! You may see typos coming from me a lot, and you may see sentences even missing words... I seem to have developed a bit of a problem with this lately. I am really quite eloquent, it's just a typing thing... so, I hope you read 'Typo'. lol
