About Me

The name's Jay or Fernando (Which ever you prefer. The former is my given nickname and the latter is my real name), I live in San Diego and I'm an aspiring actor and film director. I'm also a professional wrestler competing in the independent scene from time to time (I know, it's hard to believe). I'm a Theatre Arts Major at SDSU which is also pretty weird considering all the things I do. Acting, filmmaking, and stunt work has been a huge part of my life since I was eight years old.
I love movies. I'll give any film a shot, but I mostly enjoy good ones. I can't stand most action and mainstream crap, which is ironic cause I make mostly action movies. I basically like comedies that are genuinely funny, good superhero movies, independent films, foreign films, Hong Kong action, Japanese horror, new wave Korean films, some art/abstract, some noirs, some musicals, and some experimental films. Just anything that is good and keeps my attention and challenges the way movies are made.
Things I like to do on a regular basis are making movies, acting, watching live theatre, watching good movies, playing video games, hanging out with friends, being silly, and train in the martial arts, acrobatics and overall physical fitness.
