My name is Sunny, and I am from Rhinelander, WI...the land of the ferocious, dog eating Hodag...the incomparable Hodag Country Music Festival...and the most bars per capita(according to the Guiness Book; we should be proud).
I now live in San Diego, which is really a love/dislike relationship in many ways. I have been here for 4 years.
I love the weather(usually), I am close to LA and Va Va Vegas, the culture, the food...hello, and the opportunities that I could never have elsewhere.
I dislike that there is no snow for Christmas and no real change of season for that matter, the cost of living is absolutely outrageous, real friends are more difficult to come by, and there is generally a different kind of attitude, that I find less than satisfying.
But I believe that no matter where I am, there will always be the pros and cons.
I am currently working fulltime for SDSU Foundation in their DUI School in Administation. Yes, I said DUI....so basically I do a lot of paperwork, deal with the courts and CA DMV, and all that jazz.
I am also a student, which may end up being a lifelong career, because I genuinely LOVE school and learning. I know that sounds crazy and it may very well be.
And I am an actress and singer...who the heck in CA isn't, right? I perform in muscial theatre productions and do some other little fun side thingies right now.
In my free time, which I don't have much of, I sell stuff on Ebay (so kinda in a way, I have my own business), go to the San Diego Zoo, work out at the gym, and hangs wit my CALI friends, and my Rhinetown pals who live out here.
So, needless to say, I am hella busy!
I have a lovely family, most of whom are back in WI.
