About Me

About me:
I am a graphic artist at my day-job...I'm also a traditional artist, and a digital artist/animator.I enjoy sketching in my sketch book, playing songs that I've made up on my Yamaha keyboard, painting and photography. When I compose an art piece or sketch, the theme may be surreal, science-fiction, or supernatural.I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in graphic art/illustration. In my spare time, I create art, logos, web animation and websites. My online gallery will eventually be at www.insidejasonsmind.com and I'll have a gallery of my Flash animation on my www.midnitecafe.com blog.

My Interests

Art, Illustration, Graphic Design,
Animation, Movies & Music

------------------- www.midnitecafe.com

------------------- I also like to stay active and go to the gym. I'm try to keep flab away at all costs, and my blood flowing so that I don't become lethargic. Also I'm an avid movie fan--I especially like movies that have depth or some kind of plot twist--and ones that are not formula, shelled-out, cliche Hollywood crap (unfortunately, today, a lot of movies fall into that cliche-niche and I find myself mostly watching independent films).

I'd like to meet:

People who have an open mind, are creative and appreciate creative people.

"The Naked Truth"

This Video Takes Us On A Deep Journey Of Exploration Into The Origin Of Most Of The Religions We Know Of Today. This Video Is A Factual Historical Breakdown. I think This Video Should Be watched By People with an open mind..some of it's topics may be "mind Blowing" for some.
I LOVE MOVIES!!! Amadeus, Goodfellas, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Waking Life, American Splendor, Gattaca, Minority Report, Frida, Big Fish, Ghostbusters, The Lost Boys, Young Frankenstein, Blade Runner, The First Matrix (not the sequels), Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Dark City, City of Lost Children, Labyrinth, Ed Wood, Vanilla Sky, Sky Captain, The Doors, Prophecy (with Christopher Walken), Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind, Amelie, A.I., Mulhulland Drive, The Incredibles, A Series of Unfortunate Events, and comedies like Road Trip, Planes, Trains & Automobiles, Uncle Buck and Wedding Crashers...and of course The Lord of the Rings Trilogy...although I am tired of watching those movies, I do like them.

Television:

I try to watch as little TV as possible.
I used to be totally addicted to TV and back when I first moved into my own place, I decided : "NO MORE TV". But whenever I'm over at someone else's house, I'll find myself watching The Colbert Report and The John Stewart Show and the Discovery Channel...and as far as cartoons, I've always had a little place in my heart for Ren and Stimpy.

Books:

Dude Where's My Country? by Mike Moore, Oriental Philosophies by John M. Koller, The Tao of Poo, Night-by Elie Weisel, Siddhartha, Fast Food Nation, Communion (that crazy alien book; Christopher Walken was great in the movie adaptation, too.

Heroes:

Mark Ryden, David Lynch, Tim Burton, Danny Elfman, Frank Black, Chris Angel and Micheal Moore.
