Interests!?!?! Dear Lord, where to begin... ah, history. Gotta love all the amazing architecture that we just... well, don't take the time to go that far... but, hey, who are we kiddin? Let's talk about sex. ;-} OK, I'm not *exactly* straight. I 'DO' like girls to play with, I just GOTTA have a real one to get total satisfaction. Being in the arms of a m-a-n is the thing that sets my heart to fluttering... Oh, yeah, and as well as my other interests: Strips of leather, be they belts, cuffs, or the leash I use to take my dog to the horse show. Riding my horses (again leather is creaking in the background) in the deep woods of a national forest, camping at the top of a waterfall, throwing parties at my house, dressing up and going out dancing. Scuba diving is a new hobby of mine. Way fun! Just got my advanced underwater stuff out of the way and I'm working on dry suit next! I love to cook, especially when i have someone to cook for, and i tend to use a lot of exotic spices on those off days i actually get to play with my food. i like steel drums (oh, the islands!!) and i want nothing more out of life than having a happy slow sunset in the arms of someone I love. Life is too damn short to sweat the small stuff.
God, if one exists. I have some questions to ask. Satan, if he exists. Then compare their answers. Napoleon... to tell him about peanut butter and jelly sandwiches; given the right resources on food, he could have ruled the world. Someone from the city of Atlantis. The builders of the pyramids. The makers of those funky crop circles that look like Astrological street signs. Bertrand du Guesclin. Leonardo DeVinci. My first grade teacher to thank her. I *so* wish I could remember her name... She was indeed a 'lady of color' and had the biggest heart... Just what a scared little girl needed. And Mr. Kenneth Simpson, my sixth grade teacher, who was the first male role model I had, and set the bar for EVERY male since then...
Anything that has a beat or tells a story, I'm there! I like reggae, jazz, new age stuff, some hard rock but not much of it, I like Kenny Rogers and Elvis, Enya in small doses, Lorenna McKinnet, and all of the Narada collection. DJ Scribble and DJ Sandy, 2 Pac, Snoop Dog, Vanilla Ice, Nena (goes WAY back!!), Duran Duran... like I said, I like lots of different types of music!
Gee, my latest fave is Next with Nicholas Cage. I like spy movies, All of the Ocean's (eleven, twelve and probably thirteen when I get to see it!) movies, Stephen Kings' books make good movies... silly-ish kid movies like Princess Bride, The Dark Crystal, Neverending Story, Legend, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, and moving onto not-so-silly kids movies; All of the Tolkien- based movies.
Hmmmmm. I really don't watch a lot of TV. I do like the Storm Chasers, though. And Myth Busters. I occasionally can stand an episode of Robot Chicken. But, in general, hands down, The Discovery Channel and the History Channel. Mostly thought, mainstream television rots your brain. Don't have time for that. I have seen bits and pieces of several different series' though. My husband brings home the boxed sets and watches them in a several day marathon. My favorite recently would be Supernatural.
HA HA HA!! No time there, either. Too busy writing this ;-} I am VERY slowly reading the book Protocols- a slave's handbook. Most of it is really cool and some of it just isn't practical for my situation... but, you learn What you can Where you can. Jeesh, the last book I actually read all the way through was the Torah. And I'm not even Jewish.
Anyone who has the wisdom to see what needs to be done and the strength to see it through. I think that is my biggest life problem; stick-to-ittiveness. I have the best darned ideas on how thing should go but when it comes down top actually buckling down and getting it done, i sometimes loose sight of my goal or change it out of sheer necessity. I could rule the world if I were more organized. They say Einstein left his house with no pants on, and had to follow a string to class so he wouldn't get sidetracked. While I'm not quite that bad, i do sometimes wonder if we share some common genes...
