He's Not Dead!!

About Me

Originally started as a Saturday afternoon jam band, SinDizzy was formed in 1994 by veteran Stryper guitarist and bassist Oz Fox and Tim Gaines, and joined by drummer John Bocanegra and lead guitarist Bobby MacNeil. As they played together for the first time, the four realized that there was something special taking place. Feeling inspired to write songs Tim and Oz wrote "Sacred Blood" a rock opera of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. More music was written by the band with a "modern sound," a fresh sound that showcased each bandmembers individual talents.
In 1996 the band recorded a 6 song demo to shop a record deal, and were turned down by every label they presented themselves to. Being frustrated with the lack of industry interest, Tim pursuaded the other members to release a SinDizzy album on his own TGM Productions label with the idea of using the internet as a vehicle to promote the band. Having sold thousands of CD's worldwide - "He's Not Dead" was the first and only release by SinDizzy.
The message and theme of SinDizzy is Christ is alive! - He's Not Dead!
In 2000, Tim Gaines parted ways with SinDizzy to try his hand at some other styles of music and to continue to grow his production company. SinDizzy was then joined by bass player Kevin Walt, and continued to perform live concerts through 2003 when Oz reunited with Stryper.
As of January 2007 there has been talk of Tim and Oz putting the band back together and record some new songs. We will keep you informed.
