Singer/Songwriter NaNa{Nay-Nay) was catapulted into the limelight as the lead singer of 'The Architechs', gaining international pop chart success with hits such as 'Body Groove' which sold 5OO,OOO copies and stayed in the top 1O consecutively for 10 weeks!The follow up 'Show Me The Money' was used as a soundtrack for the feature film "The Hole" which starred keira knightly. Both tracks were used in a number of campaigns including the 'Mastercard' ad for the Brits & MOBOs.Due to artistic differences NaNa decided to leave the Architechs and work on other projects before jetting to New York to gain more experience in the industry.Born and raised in North West London, NaNa{Nay Nay} is a recognisable face of style and glamour in the UK dance music scene.She has always been at the forefront of breaking new sounds in the UK, from Garage,funky house, electro and Dirty Dutch.On her musical journey NaNa {Nay-Nay} has worked with Bugz in the Attic (What You Do), Wiley (Nicole's Groove), Skillz, (Big Brother production), The Characters (Boyz 2 Men, Tyrese production), Eric Morales,Booker T, to name a few. || At the end of 2005 NaNa's {Nai-Nai} return to the UK underground music scene was marked bya nationwide modelling campaign for PUMA original tracksuit in conjunction with JD Sports. 2005-06She is currently working on a new Album due for release in 2008TO CONTACT NaNa{Nay-Nay} Please contact SILK PR on 0870 350 25 25 or email [email protected]
