About Me

Myspace layouts from Pyzam.com
All the rhythm tracks (except Dylan’s Boogie) were written on the Cakewalk midi music staff. I have no midi equipment. The end result because of my lack of written music theory is what you hear: free form style jam. On Dylan’s Boogie I used the Session drummer and played bass and guitar. I’m playing through a line 6 pod directly into the computer with a creative live soundblaster. I’m not sure if I like the sound; my ears are spoiled by my 1966 ampeg tube amp.
I started playing guitar in the seventies after hearing the opening chords to Brown Sugar. Keith also inspired me to play lead on the Get Yer Ya Ya’s Out’s Sympathy For the Devil. I started listening to Eric Clapton. I jammed to all the live Cream albums which was a huge turning point in my playing.
Over the years I have played in the Village and jammed in various situations. I play for the passion of music and never worked too hard on a career
I listed my influences, but since the music on this web site are guitar instrumentals I must say the two guitarists that probably infuenced me the most are Eric Clapton and Dave Davies. I have seen Eric and Dave in concert more than any other guitarists.
I’m a acoustic-electric-guitarist/songwriter/percussionist. The instrumentals on the site were recorded for fun and experimental reasons.
I’ve posted some of my lyrics in the blog area.

Sounds Like: Circles of Time

They play games on the circles of times
Destructive illusions polluting minds
They forget about humanity for themselves
Manipulating the role of all humankind
Leaders in power scapegoat secrets
Displaying acts to promote fear
Slain leaders' patriotism seduced
While dreams of peace grows further in years

But I'll see you in the morning light
Where all the stars are shining bright
Showing me I'm not to blame
Telling me it's not a game
Come and take me by the hand
And lead me though this foreign land

You pay we pray preachers imprison the weak
Caught with pants down denying with scorn
Children hungry for affection commit crimes
Condemning judges ignore their thorns
Corporate ladder rungs sneer with greed
Stepping on working world's hard earned dreams
People vs. people finally brought to trial
Criminals freed while the victims still scream

But I'll see you in the morning light
Where all the stars are shining bright
Showing me I'm not to blame
Telling me it's not a game
Come and take me by the hand
Lead me through this foreign land
