I love music..How it can touch you and change your life. The first time I heard this song, the timing couldn't have been more appropriate - It helped me make a life altering decision in less than 3 minutes :.. width="425" height="350" ..Thanks to MySpace, I had a chance to say "Thank You" to the man behind the music!
Everyone ~ including you! All I ask is that you please check judgemental and/or elitist attitudes at the door. I love meeting folks from all walks of life. Come say "HI" !I will "add" just about anyone, but please don't ask unless you actually want to communicate. I don't feel the need to collect bodies.. a high headcount doesn't make me feel better about myself, ya know? I prefer quality over quantity and regularly "clean house" . 'nuff said :)
Started playing air guitar and doing the hair flip while my friends were singing along with Kermit. The Beatles, The Doors, Pink Floyd, Bowie, Yes, Queen, Heart, etc. The first two songs I remember singing were "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" and Elvis' "Burning Love".As an 80's girl in "The Valley", I became a big fan of Metal & New Wave. The "Urban Cowboy" scene was lost on me except for long-haired boys in hats *oooh*. Wore out the vinyl on my original Eagles "Hotel California" album as well as "Frampton Comes Alive".Don't laugh, but I also like The Bee Gees. The stuff BEFORE Saturday Night Fever. Yes, they existed sans falsetto before disco. Great lyricists, give that old stuff a chance! The collaborative efforts of Elton John & Bernie Taupin.. so timeless.Today you'll usually hear Rock cranked in my car ~ TURNED UP TO 11 ! XM and CD's have been pulling me away from the FM dial. Not a big fan of Rap and Hip Hop.. unless it leans towards pop. I don't want to listen to a bunch of angry thugs screaming.. gosh, does this mean I am officially "old" ? *lol*
Cheesy horror movies, sci-fi, comedies and action/adventure. Don't care too much for "chick flicks" ~ I have a soft heart and don't like to cry in public. It really pisses me off! *lol*
Almost nothing unless I catch it on TiVo! To my own surprise, my guilty pleasures have been reality programs! I've watched CFC 1&2, Biggest Loser (I've battled weight and empathize), I am American Idol's beeyatch.. House, MD and CSI are on my list too. I like sitcoms but only catch them if nothing else is going on. Family Guy, Southpark, Drawn Together.. oh yeah, I like 'toons, too!
Anne Rice and all of her "non-vampire" alter egos (A.N. Roquelaure). Stephen King. Haven't taken the time for "recreational" books in the past few years.
All of the people who get up each day to face their challenges and adversities head on.
