About Me

The Thunder Never Strikes is an Italian progressive rock band. Their musical style shows the effect of various influences coming from all the kind of rock, fusion and all the contaminations of Afro-American music. The peculiarity of their style resides in creating, from more or less canonical structures, sections that show all your musical vein. Cousins, Giovanni Debellis (guitars) and Marco Mangiagalli (keyboards and piano), after the instrumental experience "Soft Impact", meet Domenico Granieri (drums and percussions), Giuseppe Colamorea (bass guitar) and Francesco Valentino (vocal), giving rise to the first nucleus of Thunder Never Strikes, initially called "Eternal Sin" and "Mad News". After a period of intense rehears, Roberto Manobianco become the lead singer, and the group realizes its first official demo. With this line-up Thunder Never Strikes receives many appreciations playing in various shows. In March 2008 the band begins to collaborate with the agency of management "Alkemist-Fanatix Europe; finally, Francesco Filizzolla becomes the new singer after the substitution of Roberto Manobianco.
