I like things out of the ordinary. In 2nd grade I wanted to be a trapeze artist, but I didn't have the right connections. Now 29, I have finally found a place that offers lessons...to kids about the age i was in second grade. Oh well, I guess I will have to take those belly dancing classes instead. I think I'm a closet burlesque dancer. At least, I wish I was. I love everything old. I'm in love with the 1940's , the clothes, the hair, the way the pin-up girls of the 40's could knock the g-strings right off any modern playmate. I dress up nearly every day, and although "jeans" are hardly a word in my vocabulary, i'm not afraid to get dirty (interpretations open for discussion). I enjoy being out side, so much in fact, that I want to live in a tree house. I would sit on my tree top balcony and slurp my coffee, gaze at the stars and throw the occasional water balloon. I also live for the DRIVE_IN and old cars. Other interests of mine: Art (mosaic, deco pauge, visual art) photography, creating hair do's, writing, coffee drinking, camping, listening to music and singing along, Movie watching, coloring, BOWLING, mud puddle stomping, swinging (park swings that is!), indian food, swing dancing and the list could go on, but I will spare you.

Not much into Fiction, although I do like childrens books and poetry. I like to learn about other cultures, interesting fun facts and traditions that other countries partake in. I like "how to" books, books that help you learn a craft or inform you on how particular things are made or function. I collect beauty/charm books of the bygone days, Books of Art, unusual and interesting coffee table books. and etiquette books from 1900-1935. So ladies, If you want to know how to turn down a gentleman caller 1920's style, I'm your girl.
