Sean has taken a step forward where the â€˜Monument of Nestsâ€™ cassette left us, with itâ€™s broken up fits of bedroom-produced strangeness. The songs on â€˜Magic Foodâ€™ are cloaked in a rich layered mess of percussive joy, broken guitars and keyboards. The songs find their way through the layers of mud, starching and scraping, expressing a darkness that is coupled with a subtle lightness, bringing forth a bombardment of tonal anxiety and hermit induced weirdness. The cd-r also features a cover version of Gareth Williams and Mary Currries â€˜Generous Moonâ€™. Hand made covers, limited to 50, act now! Cdr and cassette label founded in 2005 to release and document the undercurrents of Melbournes music underground in limited and hand made glory. We have released such acts as PAECES, SPORES OF THE GOLDEN BEARD, BOHEMIAN KNIGHTS, OMEN COMPASS, LAKES, ASTRAL VILLAGE, MOFFOFARAH, TERRACID etc.
