YAH...the Hope of the World...

About Me

starbucks iced chai with ORGANIC MILK...YUM. i think that something happens to me after i spent a considerable amount of time in the studio...i don't want to hear music or play it. weird. i think my head gets so worn out over it i stay away from it for a while. it seems as though lately i have been traveling a lot. its good though i just can't see myself doing it all the time. it breathes burn out. i dream a lot lately and it compels me to seek GOD and be aware of the things around me even if its something really small and almost unnoticeable.i love Jesus deeply and love worshipping and singing to Him. i'm all about relationships and loving the people around me well.lately i have been thinking about what i really want out of life and i am finding that i really don't know what that is. so i am in search of truth, in search of real love, not just the love you get from God but also the love God imparts into people to give away. i am in search of freedom. i find myself everyday struggling with what is truth and what is false. so everyday i try to put my heart in front of the fire, going back to dying to what i think it should all look like, how it should feel like. i'm no one special really. i'm just an hispanic girl from philly that really longs to see GOD be known on the earth. thats all really.other than that i have really cool threads which i am not at all planning ..ting anytime soon. i love the people i am surrounded by these days. i am truly blessed. stay tuned!

My Interests

I love writing music, taveling, hearing other people's stories, drinking good coffee (Runcible Spoon in Nyack, NY) the best, roadtrips are my favorite, but you have to go with fun people that don't take things too personal or else its no fun, traveling to other cities, more to come...

I'd like to meet:

Musicians, Singers and Songwriters

Music:

Rosie Thomas, her music is simple but very in your face, thought provoking and the sound of the piano in her records are amazing. Over the Rhine. Sara Groves, I just love listening to her. I have most all of her records and they are all pretty darn good. Her voice captures my attention. U2- they are just an amazing group of musicians. Rita Springer and Kate Miner they just inspire me to fly higher everytime in my music. Tracy Chapman, encourages me b/c i have a low vocal range and I too have threads and play the guitar. Alanis Morrissette. Dave Matthews. David Campbell, a very good friend of mine who has a very cool style, sort of Peter Gabrielous sound... Amos Lee, great new artist. Duncan Sheik, love his style. Frou Frou, good to listen to whenever i want to get down and dance, in my room by myself. James Taylor, Sting, the Police, classics. Mindy Smith. Natalie Merchant. Indigo Girls. Peter Gabriel, such a great preformer and writer/musician. Seal. Sarah McLachlan, one of my long time favorites. Sheryl Crow. more later...

Television:

not much really...

Heroes:

Jesus of course, the one who saved my life and my mom whom i miss...
