i hardly watch tv, but when i do it's usually comedy central, history channel, or football. my opinion... the daily show and the colbert report are the best shows on tv.
i usually like fiction by chuck palahniuk, stephen king, e.a. poe, and oscar wilde. the davinci code was pretty good, too. i also like reading philosophy or almost anything on zen buddhism or taoism. i sometimes read history/politics and current events, usually stuff by michael moore and hunter s. thompson.
not really sure who my heroes would be, except maybe just people that work hard to get what they deserve in life and, for the most part, are still humble about it.
