Chanel (an actual, honest-to-goodness LA native), likes it hard and fast -- beats, that is. ;-) She is a heavy-hitter that plays for the song and doesn't step all over it. "Keep it Simple, Stupid!" is her motto. Her forte' is comin' up with cool and creative drum parts. Chanel's mentors include Chase Culp (Point One) and Michael Derosier (Heart) whom she studies with as well. Chanel was also the drummer for the Seattle, WA all-gal punk band, SuperVixen and the co-founder and drummer for the Seattle, WA alt rock/pop band, Missionary. She currently drums for the LA-based indie synthpop band, Veritas. We are currently in the studio tracking our first full-length album with Len Hotrum (lead singer for Point One) and Kelly Gray (Queensryche) producing. In another life, Chanel worked in the video game industry and was one of the original creators of the Xbox video game system and the designer of its groundbreaking sound chip.
