What me and the other voices say.

About Me

What can I say about myself, well I was born and raised in Colorado. I have a number of things that I like to do with my time. The number one thing I do with my time is work like most of the people in the world. But outside of that I like to play drums and go to shows. I also Work for Grind Percussion the makers of Grind Sticks, that in my opinion are the best sticks on the market today and I have broken a lot of sticks in my time. We at Grind Percussion started a website, www.sickdrummer.com Which is a sight dedicated to promoting the sick drummers of the world. With pics, videos, interviews, and insight from pro drummers. So if you like drums and/or Metal go check it out at www.sickdrummer.com Also we at Grind Percussion have launched a webzine called Sickdrummer Magazine. If you liked the website then you will love the magazine. It is packed with every thing that the world of metal drumming has to offer. Interviews with the sickest metal drummers, In-site on the way they do the things they do. The newest product info, videos, pictures, lessons, and songs from the legends of metal. So go check out Sickdrummer Magazine at www.sickdrummermagazine.com I also like to brew my own beer, play and watch hockey. I go climbing from time to time. I also like to advocate for Cannabis. Did you know that Cannabis is the next best thing to wood for mankind. It has so much that it can offer the world, Cannabis can be used for a wide variety of purposes, including Food, Medication, clothing, Oils, Fibers, Fuels, Weed Control, and nutritional products. and for the last 10,000 years it was. Up until the 1930s when one man made it his mission to make it illegal, and for what reason is up for speculation. However the reasons given have no supporting evidence. Henry Jacob Anslinger was appointed as the first Commissioner of the Treasury Department's Federal Bureau of Narcotics (FBN) on August 12, 1930. He held office an unprecedented 32 years, and from day one he has work for the criminalization of Hemp. The word Marihuana was made up by Anslinger and his team to disassociate it from the hemp plant we used for all kinds of things. Hemp, Cannabis, Marihuana, Marijuana, hashish, Cannabis Sativa Sativa, Cannabis Sativa Indica, and Cannabis Sativa Ruderalis, is all the same thing. Its all Cannabis Sativa. Now if you look at that word. Canna means stock or reed, bis means two formes and sativa means useful. So in the name Cannabis Sativa you say that the plant has a stock, a male and female form, and that it is useful. And that’s just the scientific name of this plant. Cannabis sativa is the oldest and most resourceful crop sown. Industrial hemp could supply most of mankind's fuel, fiber and food needs and will be the agent of transformation for our economy away from many toxic petrochemical products to nontoxic, agriculturally based alternatives. yet it is one of the most prosecuted plants of our time. We as a society need to change this. Now we have made good headway in the medical field. A Patients in any of the 12 states that currently allow medicinal cannabis: Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Washington are qualified if they've been previously diagnosed with chronic pain, chronic nausea, AIDS, cancer, glaucoma, chronic muscle spasms and other spastic disorders such as multiple sclerosis, seizure disorders such as epilepsy, gastrointestinal disorders such as IBS, Crohn's disease and the inability to eat, or patients who have medical treatments for other conditions that cause one of these conditions. Anyone wanting to fined out how to get setup with medical cannabis needs to go to the The Hemp Cannabis Foundation’s (THC Foundation) website www.thc-foundation.com and I would recommend looking at NORML’s website as well www.norml.org . Now this is a good start but what about the people in the other 38 states that could benefit from medical cannabis. Now you may ask your-self what can we do to help, and if not you should be. Well the first thing we need to do is register to vote and keep our eyes and ears open for amendments, laws, and politicians that share our viewpoint on the decriminalization of cannabis. We also need to go to the marches and the smoke-outs. The more people the better. We as a people need to stop fearing our government and start running it the way it was ment to be run. Cannabis is less harmful to the body then Tylenol, and we don’t have the right to have it because of some laws from the 1930s. The laws are a result of public disinformation and lies. Every thing the US government ever said about cannabis was a lie or scare tactic that was backed by some sort of unseen force. Countless studies have been done and there is no convincing scientific evidence that cannabis dose any of the things the US government claims. And when you tell them its like they just do hear you. I found a nice website that goes over a lot of the myths and facts about cannabis it is www.drugpolicy.org/marijuana/factsmyths/#brain you should take a look at it. Also look at www.drugwarfacts.org/marijuan.htm www.cannabisfacts.ca www.americanmarijuana.org www.medicalmj.org www.medicalcannabis.com/reference.htm and I will add more ass I fined them. Anyway, that is me in a nutshell.
