I have been with my boyfriend Doug for a year and we're both in the best relationship of our lives so I am not interested in any "offers"...leave that to the godfather lol. But I am NOT the type of person who shuts the rest of the world out if I am in a relationship like nothing else exists. I do just the opposite...I embrace others just as much...don't make your life limited to only one person when there are so many great connections to make, so much life to absorb!!
NOW....Thanks for stoppin @ my page! As you can see I prefer that my photos stay tasteful because I am not here to be a part of the myspace skin show or popularity contest. I don't live at the tanning salon, drive an SUV with a cellphone stuck to my ear, w/oversized sunglasses on my face like I'm a celebrity. (There's something to be said for originality these days...)I'm not originally from Utah (if you met me, you'd be able to tell) I am only here to help my mom out. I miss the east coast, where people were friendly and always ready to help out. to sum Utah up with a few words "A brand new car for every kid, double standards, bad food and why the hell is everyone so nosy?" I'm trying to fit in as best I can, and maybe with the help of cool myspacers like you, I can :)
My friends all accept the fact that I don't have to get drunk to have a good time or act like a fool to attract and keep attention. Sorry, I don't go clubbing either, I'd rather keep my skin covered and just hang out with friends instead. That's not to say I haven't live life, either...keep reading...
Life is all about reality for me...it's about growing up poor and hard with nothing ever handed to me. It's all about being grateful for what you have. I never got handed anything and I was on my own by the time I was 16. While my friends were out at the movies or camping trips I was sleeping on floors trying to get by. I was no perfect suburb girl, no help from mom and dad. There were many times I could have died in accidents, fires and other dangers but A Greater Power decided that my goofy lil self needs to stick around just a little more :) I have a certain respect for people who "get" what I mean, as well as the MORE fortunate who DO help out those who have less.
I am here to share thoughts/interests/dreams/opinions/friendships with unique souls of every background and color!! Life is all about sharing and helping each other along. I am here to meet creators, survivors and dreamers. We are all in the same boat sharing the same planet who came from the same place, what you drive or own makes you no better or worse, it's how you contribute and embrace that truly makes you an induvidual, so don't be surprised if I stay away from talk of $figures$, titles and the like ...it's not me, and it's not my people. Life is about hard work, faith and sharing it's rewards!
While I am not a constant churchgoer I am very spiritual and love and respect all life, especially the weaker and smaller. Just look around my profile to "get to know me."center
***THINGS I AM NOT INTO:
Trends, malls, fads, social labels, clicks, Obsessing over overcommercialized holidays, chain restaurants and chains in general, cheesy personalized licensed plates, always having to get wasted to fit in or have fun, getting something just because the neighbors got one, people who push their religion, turtlenecks, fake smalltalk, upscale stores (just read my blog) unecessarily large trucks that will never transport anything, snobby, flashy people in general. People who act like they could have your man/woman, (There are so many other worthwhile goals one can set other than taking what's already taken)
***THINGS I LOVE!!!!!!!:
Mom and Pop stores/small diners, down to earth/modest people, good friends, realness, old fashioned respect, genuine smiles, discount stores (I'd rather wait and pay what it's really worth) natural beauty, acts of charity and selflessness (just because and unscheduled) those who make their own rather than follow, Imperfect people with interesting stories, places of history, the supernatural (and natural!) all things retro and old school...I find humor in just about anything and I encourage my inner child :) I feel more comfortable in sneakers and t-shirts :)
Please don't add me ONLY so I can join your "chick" collection. I'm looking to make real friends not be dropped in your bin full of girls who I am probably nothing like anyway. If you're not interested in me as a PERSON don't be interested at all.
