My Interests

The people, places and events of Northern Nevada...

...and the world beyond!
..

I'd like to meet:

Please only send us a friend request if you are local to Reno and would like to be a crew member, guest/cable sponsor (Reno and beyond) or otherwise involved on the show; Please send us a message with your request so we know which category you fall into. :) Thank you!

CREW VOLUNTEERS:

We are now crewing up for our new cable access television show, filmed in and around the Reno/Lake Tahoe area in beautiful Northern Nevada.

The show is already confirmed to air in Reno and all around Los Angeles (more cities to be added soon). In return for assisting us on our new, dynamic, edgy talk show you will gain valuable real world entertainment industry experience, get your name in the credits and an all important solid resume entry – not to mention a whole lot of fun working with the two young, energetic hosts of the show! Both Scott and Christine are experienced in the entertainment and broadcast journalism industry, so please don't underestimate the educational aspect of these crew internships.

You don't need to have any experience, however per cable access television rules, you will need to attend a local course to learn how to use the camera/sound/editing equipment. Which course depends on which skill you'd like to learn. The courses are affordably priced so awesome for those wanting to work in the industry anyway – good skills to learn.

Info for SNCAT's "Super Slam" course is above; Once we receive details for additional "a la carte" classes they will be offering in 2008, we will post it.

For those who already have any experience in these areas – all the better. There is also a way to "test out" of taking the classes if that's the case.

We need:
-Director
-Camera Operators (studio and handheld for location shooting outside of studio)
-Sound Recordist/Mixer
-Editors (will be using Adobe Premiere/Suite; experience not required though)

We still don't have the actual date that we'll start filming because so much depends on crew availability, but we can tell you that the plan is film the first show by the end of January.

SHOW GUESTS:

If you would like to be a guest on the show please send us a message introducing yourself and telling us why. We are currently developing shows by theme (motivational, cultural, artistic, fashion design, politics, immigration, social issues, etc.). We'll be scheduling guests based on topics where they may fit.

Please keep in mind that the show films in Reno and we currently don't have an expense budget. So if you don't live here permanently but still want to be a guest - let us know when you're planning on visiting and we'll see what we can do! :)

SPONSORS:
Please also contact us if you are interested in sponsoring our show to air on cable access in your city (in my experience, that's free).

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!
