Don't talk to strangers...

About Me

Hello! Welcome to my MySpace! Allow me to introduce myself...Kelli Skye. I've had an interesting life. I've worked odd jobs, I've intereviewed strange people, I've been dirty, poor, bruised, brokenhearted and struggled just to get by. Now I've got my BA in Journalism with a minor in Poly Sci and I work amongst some of the craziest people at SqueezeOC. I have a super sexy and silly boyfriend (Sonny) who is crazy about me for some odd reason. All of my life experience has made me who I am today - I have really great friends and an awesome family. I work hard, love hard, play hard and party less now that I know better. I'm sarcastic, creative, witty and loving. I take the world one day at a time. I take long showers because it's peaceful and I've finally got the bed I've always dreamed of - the perfect level of comfort. I love learning new things, although a lot of the things that I know are useless. Someday I plan on writing a book and sharing that useless information with others. This is my day with TLynch at DLand aka CornDog Supreme Day!

My Interests

Music, I spend a lot of time listening to my iPod and/or going to buy CDs (Yeah, I don't steal my music sukkas!) I love sports and being outdoors. My family owns jetskis and quads and we have a great time on them. I'm very competitive and I love to play arcade games - miniature golf, hoops, air hockey and my favorite - skee ball! I love to write, draw and paint. I love fashion and I love make-up. I am addicted to Sephora and all of their many, many products. I love Hot Dog on a Stick's cherry lemonade and cheese dogs, I also love DOTS, Chipotle, chicken tacos from Chili's, Pepsi and Gatorade (not Coke or Powerade and I can tell the difference!) I love to travel and take mini-vacations.

I'd like to meet:

I like to meet people who are interesting, creative and unique. I like people who can make me laugh. I would love to spend a day hanging out with any or all of the following people: Rob Zombie, Jenna Jameson, Stevie Nicks, Norm MacDonald, Lisa Lampanelli, Kevin Smith, Wes Craven and Greg Graffin.

Books:

I really enjoy reading now that I'm out of college. I love thriller/mystery stories and right now I'm really liking Heather Graham (the writer, not the actress). My inspration for really getting into writing - Edgar Allan Poe - I still love reading his twisted tales and his poetry is great. I read a lot of magazines also.

Heroes:

There are a lot of people who have inspired me in my life. My family, Wendy Miller - my first editor back in '97, Julie Davey - my former Journalism teacher at Fullerton College, and my Aunt Darline. I also need to mention one crazy Brit Martin Brown...Love ya you limey bastard! Those people really deserve to be called "heroes." I admire a lot of writers and musicians, but at the end of the day it's those living and breathing around me that get me through.

My Blog

Is it all just a crazy state of mind?

This is me...admitting that I have an issue.... I put too much on myself.  I need to calm down.  I need to remember to breathe.  I'm 24 - not 42 - I just need to RELAX :) San Francisco ...
