About Me

I am originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, but I live in Leesville (zzzzzzzzz).
I l0ve computers, anything to do wITh them. I am a computer programmer/web administrator. When I'm not at work, I like to tweek systems for friends and work on my own. I'm the proud mother of a son. He is my love and my world. I joined MySpace a few years ago and I love it. I don't have many hobbies because work and home keeps me pretty preoccupied, but I would like to start my own business one day in the same field I am in.
I have some wonderful friends here and friends I have from work and elsewhere whom I adore. Hi everybody!
No weirdos, please, there are enough of them in real time.

Myspace Layouts & Myspace Graphics

I love to read, mostly fiction, philosophy, sci-fi, computer books and art history. Seriously, though, I read way too many computer books. I should be a computer genius by now. lol
I love televison, I don't care what anyone says. Sci-Fi mostly, The X-File, Star Trek (The Next Generation is my favorite), Stargate SG-1 (older eps.), Law and Order, King of the Hill, Family Guy, American Dad and other shows. I'm a big fan of Fuse TV . I could sit and watch rock videos ALLLLLL day.
I have a massive addiction to Starbucks .
I love music, mostly alternative, grunge and punk. I have a taste for techno, classical and zydeco. Weird, I know. You're not the first person to think that way, so get that silly little smirk off of your face before I slap it off.
I love my son. He's almost 3 years old and the love of my life. I never thought that one person could have such a positive affect on my life. He is the most wonderful, amazing and brilliant person I know. My little man. :)
I joined My Space to meet people with similar interests, make new friends and network. I've met some really awesome people here and some weirdos too, but that's everywhere.
Below are a few of my favorite sites:
Slashdot.org
The Company Therapist
New Orleans Saints
Cult Cross
Happy Hacker
Astalavista Security Group
New Orleans, LA
MSDN (if you don't know, I'm not going to tell you...)
Plant Radio 9.5 One of my favorite radio stations out of my hometown of Lafayette, LA. You can listen online for free
DotNetNuke
Underground News
Google
By the way, I took the BLUE pill.

Anything by Anne Rice or Tolstoy. Also, Children of Albion Rivers by six new Scottish writers, Rule by Secrecy by Jim Marrs, Moonchild by Aleister Crowley, and The Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra. Also, I love computer books.

I have a new favorite author to add. Her name is Jen Lancaster and she wrote a book called "Bitter is the New Black". It is a book based on her life and it is one of the best books I've ever read. I'm plugging it big time. Go to her website and check it out: Jennsylvania
