You are gonna LOVE this movie!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME! I'm Angie Abbott
This was not written with the intention of getting sympathy but to inspire the reader to their fullest into believing that he or she can overcome anything. And to make the reader understand that we do create our own reality through what we believe about ourself. One thing in life that you can certainly bank on is that you WILL always be what you truly believe you are. AND we can keep that belief or change it at any point in our life!
CAREFUL! I'm warning you before you read this that it's not something you will easily forget.
It's some REAL TALK!
Don't be too shocked at what you may read here. My life is an open book. and I am planning a movie on my own life. I am posting this brief summary of my story in an effort to get some feedback from you, the reader, to better write my screenplay for the movie.
So by all means, please let me know what you think and if you can somehow relate.
I look forward to hearing from you!
I was born in Abbeville SC to a poor couple. Mom says that dad wanted sex entirely too much and would force himself on her. That relationship lasted until I was 18 months old and she left him. Her and Dad both re-married. She married a man who was 20 years older than her and had 3 sons. According to my mom, their mother had abandoned them and he had to return home from the military to care for them. About 4 years after they married he and my mom had a son. In the meantime she adopted his youngest son at the age of 2. I was raised in this family until I was about 11 years old. I then moved to live with my grandmother for a while and my mom left him for a younger man. She had been cheating with different men and this time she got pregnant with my sister. When she married this new man she wouldn't have anything to do with my brothers. I didn't care so much about not seeing the older brothers because; the oldest molested me from age 4. He would come in my room and give me an orgasm. He got off on it. I liked it of course and was too ashamed to tell anyone. And the next to the oldest got off on beating the shit out of me and John. John was only 1 month younger than me. We were like twins. I did miss John a great deal and would rebel against my mom's decision to abandon him. She was the second mother to abandon him and it hurt me a great deal to just know that he was going thru that. I had talked to him with the help of my real dad without my mom knowing it and he was experiencing a lot of heart ache and pain and was really missing what he had always know to be his mother. I later went to live with my Dad until he attempted to have sex with me in the middle of the night. He had remarried an older woman with 3 Daughters and was having sex with the oldest daughter. When she moved out he began molesting The next one and when she moved out he begin having sex with the one who was only 2 years older than me. She was only 9 years old when he first penetrated her. This sister talked to me and I knew the whole time what was going on. I think the DSS took her from the home. The girl's mother would never listen to her daughters when they would go to her to tell her that their step daddy was forcing them to have sex with him. In fact she still lives with him. Her first husband, my step sister's real dad was in jail for murder. He actually blew some man's head off up town in Abbeville and it was the wrong man even. Not who he had went for. Would you believe my Dad has very little to do with me because I date black guys. When I date that is. Kind of crazy to think that he believes that it's ok to molest little girls but we should stay with our own kind. I married at 15 and begin having children right away. I was looking for an unconditional love and found it in my own children. By the time I was 21 I had my 4th child. My mom signed for me to marry a man 24 years old when I was only 15. I'm wondering if that is still how it works in the U.S.? Are we still allowing our children to marry grown men? The only thing I would sign for my 15 year old daughter and a 24 year old man would be a warrant for his arrest if he don't keep his dirty hands off of my daughter.
Now my children are all grown up and I am 42 years young with 3 beautiful grand children. My kids do pretty well for themselves. My youngest son bought his first home at the age of 19. My oldest daughter on the other hand is struggling with depression and addiction in a very big way and I plan to help her and millions of others with my documentary, "One Love Addiction". After 9 years of abuse from my former husband I fell in love with my best friend. He was a black man and a fellow officer at the prison I had worked at for 5 years. We both went to other jobs and began seeing each other on a very regular basis. The racism was heavy in the little town of Abbeville and my landlord kicked me out of the house. He is the same man that turned Julia Roberts away from his club because she was accompanied by her chauffer who happened to be black. He told her, "I don't allow niggers or nigger lovers in my club, so ya'll find somewhere else to go". This man had a sign up at his bar that said whites only.
I had a hard time with it and moved to NC until my mom and grand mom got me an apartment in Greenwood with the money that I gave my mom from my retirement money from the prison. My mom had chosen the place which was in a very bad neighborhood with lots of drugs and violence. She then stole my food stamps, put sugar in my tank and would say things like, "if she wants to be a nigger then we will put her in the middle of nigger town and let's see if she survives". Well Mom made it so that it was quite a battle to make it so I gave the kids to my ex-husband who had just re-married and was doing well. They stayed with him for a year and ½ until I got back up on my feet.
While I had the children money seemed so hard for me to come by. I went thru a few boyfriends and discovered that I needed to do something extra to provide for my kids like I wanted to and I then began hustling and soon my kids were all wearing named brand clothes and braces on their teeth. I have been arrested for shoplifting, 46 counts of burglary and then later on I was arrested for making counterfeit money. I was fortunate enough to beat all the charges except for the shoplifting charges and was given a second chance. My kids grew up and were able to fend for themselves and I began to live an honest life and went back to college to major in desktop publishing because I loved editing pictures. While in College I learned that I could actually draw and am a very gifted artist. I began doing T-Shirts, posters and CD Cover designs for the local entertainment industry in my area and there happens to be an incredible explosion of commercial sounding and mainstream ready talent here. Anyone who lives here knows that it is only a matter of time before the spotlight is brought to our community. I did all of my work for free building a portfolio. I began branching off into the digital music videos and finally found my true love. Again I was doing it all for free but was very selective who I did work for. I only wanted to work with those who were drawing the big crowds with their work. I worked mostly with a group called the F.L.A.T.T.I.E.S., pronounced Flat Ties. I was excited about working with them from the very beginning because their fan base is bigger than anyone I know in the underground. They were having sold out shows and people knew them and were shoving into each other to get to the front of the stage. Just watch some of the videos I've done for them and see for yourself. They are on this page. I also developed a special place in my heart for the guys after I started working with them for a while because their sheer determination is exactly what inspired me to take my career all they way to movie production. They have an album being sold world wide that they get no money for. I convinced them to promote the sales even though he isn't given them any royalties in order to build a demand for them and to get their sound scans up. Anyway, I'll let them tell their own story when they are ready. I just hope to get them some really good management soon.
Times got very hard financially and I had no choice but to move. My best friend from Anderson SC agreed to let me come and stay with her until I got back up on my feet. While I was there her and her boyfriend did a great deal of arguing mostly about me being there. Before I got my things unpacked off of her truck I had 2 jobs lined up in Columbia SC and an apartment where I had no rent to pay. I moved to Columbia and attended online classes in business and marketing. I then decided to go full speed ahead in my career choice as a major motion picture producer. I then began looking into film schools. I had ventured into the idea of attending Full Sail College which is a very popular college. By then I had produced many music videos for various artists around SC and had gotten my first paid job. I was selected over ETV by Alan Thames, with the Episcopal Diocese to do a documentary on their's and Partners in Health's 27 years of progress in Haiti. Given these facts I felt like I was ready to take it all to the next level. I had toured Full Sail twice did some research and was told by a tour guide that even though you are paying an extremely high tuition just like everyone else, you may be just bringing coffee to people behind the scenes there for the first couple of years. My intention was to find a film school that would let me use the schools resources as I attended and film my first Real Box Office hit. I am confident that my movie Kakalak Curse will rock the box Office. I presented it to Tony Decello of Hollywood Studios and he loved it. He would even call me and ask me how his new screenwriter was doing. I later learned that I really didn't want to sell the script to anyone, even Hollywood Studios because I want to do Kakalak Curse myself. That way I can project my skills to their fullest. I finally found a college that met all of my needs in this and academically and am beginning college at Miami International University of Art and Design On July 9th 2007. You can expect to see my movie, "Kakalak Curse" coming out within the next 2 years. In the meantime I will be finishing up the "One Love addiction" documentary and after both of those are done I will do the movie on my life in an effort to use it to show how effective positive affirmations are.
Thank you so Much for taking the time to read this. Please know that in order to truly be happy we must learn who we are and learn to love who we are. I hope you are fully aware of what it is that makes you happy and I hope that you go for your own happiness without hesitation because your own happiness is your responsibility and your birthright!
