About Me

ILLUSTRATOR / WRITER --------------------------------------------------------I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. In the past, I have illustrated the text, INTERIOR DESIGN, by Paul Wallach and the McGRAW-HILL BOOK COMPANY. Now, I take on commissions for private work and I am now in the process of writing and illustrating children's books. Creating magic through my artwork has always been a drive for me. CHECK OUT THE ARTWORK IN MY ALBUMS******Volunteer work has always been a part of my life. I have been involved with local equine rescue organizations, helping to find homes for horses and others. Taking on the sick and abused and I try to find funding for all others in need.****** I have two horses now. One was adopted from our rescue organization (Quarter Horse) and a beautiful Shire who's had his own experiences with abandonment and other abuse. They're safe and spoiled now.******I have assisted in Dolphin Research and helped this organization with their rescues. Volunteer work can be extremely fulfilling and, I will say, have been my most memerable experiences. I am addicted to learning new things and volunteering has been a wonderful education... Just do it!******I have always been drawn to medicine. I have spent some time as a Veterinarian Assistant. In addition, I have also worked as a Medical Assistant... for us two legged animals.******I have an artistic sensibility, and find and except this attribute, in the people that surround me. I find art in this world and try to bring it out, for others to see and enjoy. Funny, some have held this against me only because they have misunderstood. Closed off and hateful people will go on in their own minds, but I choose life and the beauty that makes me grow.

My Interests

I first started this site as a professional site. Strickly to exhibit my artwork and to network. For the longest time, no one cared to drop by, or even cared to be a friend. I did manage to eventually gain two friends, and one of them suggested that I just relax, and have fun with this venture. Now this site is more of a journal for me, and a fun place to hang out. I love to learn from the experiences of others, hearing their opinions, stories, and critiques. What better way to learn about what's going on in this country, or in another part of this world, than through my friends. My interests are, artwork and creating artwork of my own, writing, science, helping others, travel, running, hockey, soccer, training horses and other animals. I also enjoy going out to the movies, finding a great place to escape to, like Yosemite or Lake Tahoe. Some of my favorite days are spent hanging out at the beach, enjoying my free time with my friends, and going out to the movies.

I'd like to meet:

Kind, creative, educated, and adventurous people, with a good sense of humor. They're the one's that catch my interest. These people never seem to fail at making me learn how to breathe. I can't resist you! I'd also love to meet Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba, Ewan McGregor...and Hayden Christensen, too! ;0) *ARTISTIC SOUL* You paint your pictures with powerful words and disjointed sounds. Like whispers floating through a life not so strange. I see you there, like my reflection, understanding. It is an obsession, isn't it? The need to conjure the spirits that plague our brain. To release them out into the world of indifference. Will we come to be or will we be changed? Life is the media we use to create being. Soundness and soundlessness keep our balance. Away from over analytical reasoning. A place to escape.

Music:

I enjoy most types of music. Anything from Marilyn Manson, to classical. This one's for John, too.

Movies:

Iron Man, Jumper, Life as a House, The Station Agent, Everything is Illuminated, Forrest Gump, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Ratatouille, The Year of Living Dangerously, Stay, Delores Claiborne, American Beauty, Pushing Tin, Keeping Mum, Moulin Rouge, Young Adam, Trainspotting, Sex and Lucia, Ultraviolet, Blade Runner, Hamlet, Braveheart, Logan's Run, Gladiator, THX 1138, The Departed, Pirates of the Caribbean - series, and of course, Star Wars-A New Hope, and Star Wars-Revenge of the Sith.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQWLCWYGyvA Welcome to all Artists/Writers! I'd love to have you as a friend and showcase your site. After all...we've gotta stick together. DISECTION of GRATIFICATION..................Dismember my thoughts of desires, the sickness that dwells within. I swallow the words down… something prescribed.Indulge in a moment, and yield to the suffering. Hands upon my movement to cause. Treason to a cold heart.Touch me, I break. Uncontrollably wanting. Watching you melt into me. A place where I no longer care. The breath of compulsions taken deep into unconsciousness. Rests on the state of mind. Liable to surface on an outburst of surrender.Falling back below the horizon of a continuous stream. Drift into the shallows. Your tide pulls away.

NEVER DATE a CLOWN

My memory was jogged the other day by a well loved, long lost friend.  He asked for an explanation for my "train wreck" life, and wondered why I didn't call. I had been dating a clown. ...
