THUNOR is a transatlantic collaboration between UK bassist & vocalist ALAN DAVEY (Hawkwind, Meads of Asphodel, Gunslinger, Bedouin) and Chicago bassist & guitarist KARL E. H. SEIGFRIED (Soul Power Trio, Galaxy String Quartet, Calerna, Now's Disciples).
THUNOR rules the skies with a storm of space rock, jazz, classical, folk, and metal. When the Bass Monster meets the Hammer of the Bass, the result is walls of screaming lead guitars, classical bass quintets, orchestras of acoustic guitars, and Mingusian jazz explosions. Expect lightning from out of the blue.In 2008, look for their first recording on Imaginary Chicago Records featuring cover art by British comics legend Boo Cook (2000 AD, the Judge Dredd Megazine).
