I'm supposed to fit them all here?!
I can't even think of them all at once. My head would explode.
Anyone who wishes it to be so.
Yes, please.
Bring it on. If it's good and at least marginally original, I'll probably like it. If it's good and I don't like it, I can at least appreciate it.
And TOY SHOP! Visit their profile if you haven't, and listen to some of their stuff. It's completely original and terribly good.
I have to say... Maybe one day I'll get around to typing them all in... but, really, who has time for all that bullshit?
I'm totally all about Law and Order SVU. CI SUCKS. The original's pretty good, too, but I love Christopher Meloni. He is so versatile... if anyone saw Harold and Kumar, he played Freak Show. Ahhh... it was hilarious.
I'm completely in love with HOUSE, M.D.
And, of course, Adult Swim.
How about authors instead?
Grew up with Piers Anthony and Anne McCaffrey, Isaac Asimov and Mercedes Lackey... and of course L. Frank Baum. We're talking mostly fantasy/sci-fi here.
Recently I've read George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series, which was impossible to put down. Christopher Moore's Lamb really captured me as well, a kind of laugh-out-loud easy read. His Practical Demonkeeping is also really good.
Chuck Palaniuk is a must. Choke I adored. My mother's had me reading Stephen R. Lawhead's Pendragon Cycle. Mary Stewart writes another extreeemely good series based on Aurthurian Legend.
Of course, there's Harry Potter, Narnia, A Wrinkle in Time and its companions, The Neverending Story... all those childhood books that changed my life when I was groing up (except HP, o'course... I'd already done a lot of my growing up already, but You still gotta love 'em!).
