About Me

Greetings ghouls! I'm Vampy Von Pire, just your average geek girl in black. Don't worry, my black's not blacker than yours. It's just shinier and better looking, suckah!
I read too many vampire books and watch too many horror movies. I live in the greater Toronto area and have a BA in Psychology. Yes, that translates to: "She's craaaaazy." I'm disgustingly attached to a crazed serial killer Frankenstein lovin' reanimated monster freak, Thanatos. He giggles like a school girl. It's kinda hot.
Vampires and horror are a big (unhealthy) part of my strange existance. My website, vampress.net , is an online database of vampire books and movies, galore. If you're a fan of either, you'll feel like a kid in a candy store with a five finger discount. Feel free to pop by, check out the movies & books, and rate & review the ones you've seen!

Oh and yes, I'm the chick you sometimes see in the VampireWear.com print and banner ads. Go visit Jo & Meko of VampireWear.com and add them to your MySpace friends list! Tell em' Vampy sent ya.
Authors, movie makers and industry types, if I don't have your vampire based book or film listed on vampress.net, yell at me to add it!

My Interests

I like you and him and her, and that guy over there. I like Jules Joseph Lefebvre's Mary Magdalen lounging in the grotto with her firery red hair and delicious curves. I like UV reflective zombies and blood soaked virgins. I like words, how they look, how they sound, how they taste coming out of anothers mouth. I like being the oldest 12 year old I know. I like avoiding mirrors and taking bubble bathes with rubber duckies. I like learning and seeing and one day I'll like being. I like music and movies and books and being boring. I like a lot, I love a little. But just enough.

But most of all I like being vague.

I'd like to meet:

The world needs more vampires. And zombies. Zombie vampires? And those with big yummy juicy brains for me to snack on.

Bands and chicks in bikinis need not apply.

NOTE: Please don't send me MySpaceIM requests. I don't have much time for IMing and don't use that client. Thanks my wittle ghoulies!

Music:

I proudly have the worst taste in music, ever.

That's all you get.

Movies:

It saddens me that Keanu Reeves is now the face of cyperpunk. At least there's Blade Runner. But it lacked vampires, like most things.

Television:

Television hurts my head. In that unfun IQ lowering kind of way. It eats my brain. Only zombies are allowed to do that.

Books:

I see visions of vampires dancing in my head.

Heroes:

The Virgin Mary, Bettie Page, Catwoman, Vampira and my mum.
