my name is Dana. ive been told that i am a bit of a hard person to get to know, but when you do..... i am an amazing friend. its really easy to make me smile as long as you arent rude or obnoxious or stupid or boring, then usually i dont smile as much, er wait, dont get the wrong idea, if i am not smiling, i may just not feel like smiling. thats what i am saying, its hard to get whats really going on, get it??
i have a bearded-dragon named frank the tank. he is my number one man. he is the best secret keeper and listener i have ever met. i have two hampsters, zoe the neurotic hampster and the little fatty, p.j. I love them. i just got a new fish, Pony. my little pony......yep, shes pretty.
i enjoy intelligent people and well, maturity above all. i don't have time to deal with petty bullshit. i can only be me and hopefully you dont expect anything but that from me. i am trying to stay true to me, you know?? either learn to love me or leave me alone. i HATE drama and avoid it at all costs so please, please, PLEASE keep that crap away from me. i am a lover, not a fighter but dont poke the bear.
"The world always makes the assumption that the exposure of an error is identical with the discovery of truth--that the error and truth are simply opposite. They are nothing of the sort. What the world turns to, when it is cured on one error, is usually simply another error, and maybe one worse than the first one" -- Henry Mencken
“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.†-- Charles R. Swindoll
