Okay so maybe now you've heard of us.....the Pimps are still goin' strong, it's just a fact of science.....you can't stop raw energy. And yes, we still have something to put in you ;) We formed up in P-town in 06 with the idea; led by Big Daddy Jake, to bring the noise to the 757. In case you are not up on current events the noise has been more than brought, along with eyeliner, lack of clothing, PBR, tow trucks, mixed crowds, assholes, band disputes, Camels, drumkit gloves, lesbian bars, minimal money.....but mad street cred. If you don't like our band, that's perfectly fine, we probably don't care too much for you either ha ha ha
WE ARE NOT A SOUTHERN ROCK BAND AND NEVER INTEND TO BE. Yeah some of the stuff we do you might hate, but some of it you might get all wet in the crotch region for. We are what we are, don't try to classify us. We will soon be droppin' some hot original songs that you just might wanna rock on your moped on your way to the BE-LO, but enough of that.
BIG DADDY JAKE: The forefather of the Pimps, or who we like to refer to as the HAIC (head anglo in charge) Reppin P Town to the fullest this cat says it like it is, and does it like it should be done. Like a can of PBR thats been sittin in your trunk for three years, the bass lines Big Daddy drops can only be referred to as "funky and mean" Extreme exposure to the bass nastiness that belts out from this man can cause increased amounts of body hair in men and loss of panties in women. His smooth vocals brought sexy back way before JT ripped us off lol.
EL BONO : A former hairstylist....wait no, thats not right......newest member of the band, El can rock a sick guitar and an even more badass banana hammock. He played his first show like it was his reunion tour. Always striving to make the music better through intense practice and clever hooks, this kid is a natural. Even though some disagree, he still is quoted as saying that "Super Massive Black Hole" by MUSE is "the hot shit" (;) Filling out the vocal high end, wait till you hear his MJ. Ask him where he got his shades and he'll tell you a story about how he made Bono say YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH
KEYSEAN FLOWS: WTF is this guys problem??? Drunk on occasion and never wearing underwear is what Flows is all about. His guitar playing has been known to start a war sometimes. Lead vocals for the band, he rocks and raps his way into your heart, and the ensuing cardiac arrest makes you glad you tattooed his name on your ass. A beer. his guitar, and his dog, and this cat is ready to wreck shop, or maybe start a cult...who knows????
CP THRASHER aka CP Thrizzle: Drummer for the Pimps. Hes like a concrete mixer, really beats the hell outta his drums with the ultimate skill. The gentleman and scholar of the group, he formerlly played for hamburgers in another band before Big Daddy Jake pulled him into an outfit where at least he can now get fries with that burger if he so chooses. All jokes aside this guy is an excellent muscian........(now back to jokes) and the only one of the Pimps who has played a show out on Church St. at night.....naked cept for a gold chain and a 40.
