Born Kris Owens, an Atlanta native of a musical family, DJ KNOCK OUT found his own musical mission at the young age of 16. Under the wings of industry veterans, DJ E Double U and DJ Lace, DJ KNOCK OUT launched his career with a bang! In 2002, he premiered his first major project, Mic Check, hosted by radio personality Eddie Velez and DJ Lace, at Grace Heritage High School, his alma mater. The next year, he followed up with Mic Check 2003.
Today, DJ KNOCK OUT can be found just about anywhere! He has made appearances at Holdin Down Da Spot and Club ATL, is the official DJ for NORF UP! Music and Class Heat Records, is a Higher Ground Record Pool DJ, and is spinning for the likes of holy hip hop moguls Mark J, Kay Bizzy, and Platinum Souls.
All this heat, on top of knowing and living Gods Word, has definitely catapulted him into a surefire spiritual force to be reckoned with! However, he humbly recognizes this status as a mere step in the manifestation of Gods plan for his life.
