About Me



A quartet based in the Maryvale suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, 3rd Left Turn formed in September of 2006. Since then they have composed 14 original songs and recorded a three-track demo featuring Sleepless Night, Charity, and Greed.
Having been described as slightly transient and highly unique, 3rd Left Turn never disappoints. With vocals that break down every lyric and instrumentals that have a pure rock feel, everyone is sure to enjoy the masterful blend of sound and style. Other’s might say “If you add the melodic sounds of Authority Zero, the blistering solos of Megadeth, the hypnotizing vocals of Rage Against The Machine, plus the lyrics of a young philosopher, you have a perfect blend that is 3rd Left Turn.”
Not only has 3rd left turn heavily contributed to their local music scene by doing numerous local shows, they have also traveled out of state to places such as California and Utah as a way of spreading the reach of their fan base. With a presence that demands attention (and leaves them begging for more), 3rd Left Turn keeps the crowd captivated from the first note to the very last riff. 3rd Left Turn Is:

Influenced by their friends and fellow performers, the guys in 3rd Left Turn have one thing in common on and off stage; music is their life.
We also support the local scene by going out to concerts and rooting for our loca bands such as Vayden, Authority Zero, Isle of Essence, 22red and 2dimes just to name a couple. We are influenced from just about every type of genre from bands such as Vayden, Authority Zero, Rise against, Korn, Megadeth, Metallica(classic), Mudvayne, Slipknot, Incubus, Artict Monkeys, 30 Seconds to Mars, Panic at the Disco, Bone Thugs n Harmony, Cradle of Filth, Pantera, Immortal Technique, From First to Last, Tantric, and many many more. well it all starts out with the 3 original members of the band(Eric, David, and Derek) haha its a funny story, 3 of the first band members where goin to play a small show. and they needed a band name....
