THEY SHOT OVER 60,000 PHOTOS WITH A STILL AND JOINED THEM TOGETHER FOR SOMETHING VERY UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL, SO THESE GUYS SHOULD BE LIGHTING CIGARS SOON WITH $100 BILLS. THEIR NEXT MOVIE IS STARRING LOADS OF STALLONE AND JACK BLACK SO STAY TUNED FOR THAT.Hi my name is JD aka. Joel, and I am a 27 year old dude from Brissy. I own a entertainment company/record label called T.E Australia and a media and communications business called 106! Mac Media Solutions.
Loves: I love alternatively thinking people, and love when people do something selflessly without thought of alternative gain. V8 Supercars(best sport in Oz atm). I think Van Morrison is a timeless rock god. I like anyone whos interests don't include shopping, Paris Hilton, or tanning salons. Will Smith and Tom Hanks movies *confused also*. Girls who are silly, funny and themselves.
Hates: People driving slow in the right hand lane, superficial conditioning, girls with those stupidly big sunglasses, religious wars, any car from Kia, Zoo Magazine repeating photoshoots with ex-BB housemates, ex-BB Housemates, ex-Australian Idol Contestants, lazy people, people who don't talk on Myspace.

My Interests

As life has gone on, my interests haven't really changed as such, just my ability to be able to do them haha. Since I was a kid, I have always been into music festivals and concerts. I got to see Pink Floyd when I was 8 which was, to say the least mind-blowing.
Since then, I have taken up a very serious hit at motorsport, and love the V8 Supercars. But since the creation of C.O.F.W, I have been studying up on fashion. I wouldn't exactly say I find it incredibly interesting but I picked up that a chick was wearing a Christian Dior bag the other day, so I must be learning something.
My other main interest, well, more an addiction than anything else, is Media Collection. Now for you guys out there who aren't sure exactly what that is, it is the collection of every from music, movies, TV Shows etc.. Between me and my brother Jones, we have 37,000 or so songs, over 1000 movies, and about 70 or so TV shows. And it is an addiction. Being a nerd of course, I have networked the computers and laptop to the TV, so we have instant access to anything in the loungeroom. One day Ill have everything.... except for Lou Bega, Aqua, and anything with Debra Messing.

I'd like to meet:

WHAT I NEED:

I am looking for models and wannabes models to act as errr.. models..lol for the show plus I need people who know heaps about the modelling and fashion industry to help me with terminology and the way things run.

Music:

TOO MANY TO LIST OF COURSE, SO I'LL PUT IT INTO TWO GROUPS:WHAT AM I LISTENING TO NOW:Faker - For those not in Australia, you probably haven't really heard of Faker. When Faker first came out, I was totally not up for that revived 80's 'The Cure' rock, but I saw an interview with the lead singer Nathan Hudson, and this made me like this new band, complete with fun and silliness. With the new release of their new single, "This Heart Attack", I can genuinely say this is my pick song for the summer. Brilliance.
Nerina Pallot - A Fiona Apple-ish type chick from the UK, I stumbled across her sometime ago, about 18 months or so. Since then I have been a huge fan of her brilliant songwriting, and her ability to keep a whole album on track without diverting down the 4 chord diaster like most female singers these days. If you like alternative chick music, get "Fires". Also brilliant.
Marilyn Manson - Bringing back memories of being 16 and being handed my first Marilyn Manson album for my birthday, the dude, for me anyways, has never disappointed. I was one of those crazy few who didn't hide the fact that they were fans of Manson, and I am surprised I don't have black makeup on, and a tattoo of Rove Mcmanus making out with a dugong on my left shoulder. Deny if you will, but the bands clinical rock riffs, and Manson's awesome ability to be a storyteller has left this band's image bigger than any other 'shock-rock' band ever in history. And the new album is no different. The "Heart-Shaped Glasses" filmclip is fastly becoming one of my favorites with early scenes of him drilling the hell out of girlfriend and "Thirteen" actress Evan Rachel Wood for about 3 minutes. Manson you dog you haha :) *Sigh* tattooed singers get all the fun.
Others include: Justice, Amos Lee, Anna Nalick, Arctic Monkeys, Bloc Party, The Cops, Death Cab For Cutie, Dobacaracol, Feist, The Donnas, Veruca Salt, and anything for Ministry Of Sound, Hed Kandi, or Hotel Costes.WHAT IS TIMELESS:I know everyone has their favorites of all time, and my life soundtrack has been this:
Van Morrison - All time greatest male songwriter. His musical progressions are still standing up to this day and he still holds the record for most sexual encounters for ugliest man alive.
Sade - In the days before chill-out trance, Bruce Wills wallstreet types tried seduce rich heiresses with Sade's cool stylings. Sade's tunes are still awesomely brilliant and funnily named ,"Sex & Soul music'. It couldn't be far off the mark.Black Sabbath - Ozzy may have been in rehab 14 times, but Black Sabbath's music, still to this day, is hard and modern. People around the world still consider them more hardcore than their rocky Led Zep counterparts. Ozzy rocks.
Tracey Chapman - Arguably the greatest female singer/songwriter in history. I saw her in concert when I was 10, and she stood in front of 30000 people with just an acoustic guitar and a wood pedal. Incredible.
Jamiroquai - These guys rocks cause they bought disco back, and way before Ministry Of Sound jumped on the whole idea. Jay Kay can sing, can fucking dance well, and has a car collection that would make any man melt with envy. Bastard lol.
Baby Animals - Easily one of the greatest rock bands Oz has ever produced. Because they lived under the shadows of a late Cold Chisel and new school Screaming Jets, these guys never got the praise they deserve. Too bad cause Dave Gleeson's is a egotistical twat with a head as big as And McDowell's, and Suze Demarchi was awesome. Crying shame in the words of Johnny Diesel.
Others include: Curtis Mayfield, The Jackson 5, Fleetwood Mac, The Eurhythmics, The Cure, Janis Joplin, Joni Mitchell, ZZ Top, The Cardigans, Everclear, Johnny Diesel, Concrete Blonde, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews Band, Kyuss (Now QOTSA).

Movies:

As my music collection, I like to look into the past for good movies. If the writers strike hasn't shown the world how much the Hollywood bubble is on the verge of bursting. Us here being in Oz get flooded with this modern recycled crap, and the really good stuff out there gets over looked. Here's my list for movies:RECENTLY:I Am Legend: I'm not sure what you think, but I have always liked Will Smith. His comedy was first class when he started out, but this recent roles like Pursuit Of Happyness and I Am Legend, he makes a kick ass action star and dramatic actor. I really liked this movie, and even though it was based on the 1974 film, "Omega Man". I found Will Smith playing human isolation brilliantly. People these days get caught up rating movies on the endings, but there was moments in this movie that really kicked ass. Like the scene where Sam the German Shepard gets nailed by vampire dogs, and slowly get turnedby the virus and Smith's character has to kill his only companion in a one shot strangulation. Its not the best written script, but I liked the movie for Will Smith. His genuine nature in real life just shines through into his movies. Kick ass.Superbad: Oh man, you wonder when you see this movie how many more shock levels can they take movies. Jonah Hill, who plays Seth in the movie, is just off his face funny. His crass humour reminds me of mine, and I was just dumbfounded of some of the stuff they had in this movie. The bit where the girls 'perioded' on Seth's leg is just plain out there gross, and Jonah Hill is just on fire the whole movie. Watch this movie if you want to see a young boy obsessed with drawing dicks. No seriously.. dicks lol.1408: Weird Stephen King book remake, John Cusack done a pretty spun out job of this movie. The short is, his daughter dies and he quits his job as a sports writer to travel around the US staying in scary rooms in famous hotels. He finds this ad about a room called 1408. So yeah it goes out blah blah scares him and stuff the end. It's cool cause John Cusack plays good 'out of their mind' type characters. Cool when by yourself.Others: The Butterfly Effect, Donnie Darko, Kill Bill Vol 1, Killing Zoe, Garden State, Harry Potter Series, Jackass, Haggard, Knocked Up, Girl Next Door, The Ring, Battle Royale, Bowling For Columbine.OLD SCHOOL:The Goonies: Back when Spielberg was brilliant, Sean Astin wasn't a hobbit, and when the effects are completely analog and stunning, this old school adventure is still clever and exciting. The only downfall was Corey Feldman was so disturbed by that Loth the monster guy, he destroyed his career with cocaine out of fear. Favorite scene is definately when Mouth talks fucked up Spanish to the housekeeper. Again, kick ass.

Television:

Scrubs, Arrested Development, 30 Rock, Shameless, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Heroes, and SPORTS.. its definately the male in me :) V8 Supercars!!!!!!!! Go Ford!

Books:

"A Brief History In Time" by Stephen Hawkings. Best book ever.

Heroes:

MY HEROES ARE LISTED HERE IN ORDER HAHA LOL:
Zach Braff: Zach is a strange yet interesting character, being swung to fame playing lead actor John Dorian on the hit show Scrubs. Not being a huge fan of the show at the start cause my mom liked it haha. But when hugely fast broadband came out, I ended up downloading the whole show, and pretty know every word and episode off by heart. I got to meet Zach at the premiere of 'The Last Kiss' and it was awesome to say the least. He is my top hero because we are very much alike and our humour and personalities are identical.
Graeme Kennedy: Now I know I was born way too early to appreciate to short comings off G.K, but I have seen alot of old reels and stuff to convince me he still is the greatest guy ever to grace Australian TV. Being that Aussies for some reason suffer from really BAD Tall Poppy Syndrome, I dont think that anyone will ever be greater than him. I proposed a script to his agency whilst he was on his last legs only o be rejected by G.K himself, saying and I quote, "I love this idea but I won't give the Australian Public the satisfaction".. Go Figure.
Bam Margera - A guy who obviously was troubled and bored when he was a youth, he decided to film his trials and tribulations in a little film package called, "CKY". Undoubtedly showing Bam's incredible talent as a film producer and skateboarder, CKY was the start of the whole Jackass franchise. I love him cause even though he acts tough and hard-core, he still cries when shot with Embassy-strength anti-riot projectiles. Just like what I did Will and Grace continued on for 9 seasons.
Ryan Fitzgerald - A guy whos humble beginnings on Big Brother quickly took over, as his funny antics and overall good guy personality, brought him back to TV on Friday Night Games. And still to this day remains the most loved BB housemate of all time. Even though Breeza (Bree Amer) is one of my good friends, she misses out being on my heroes list because of going out with that dumbass Bodie from last years BB.. damn man what was she thinking?!?!
