If you are a band in Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast and want us to look at your band site or Myspace to see if you fit to be shown on 106! Adventures, please post your name and the link to the site here.
I cannot guarantee a response straight away or that you will be showcased, but leave your details and I will try and get back to you ASAP.
Rules:
1. We will not showcase cover bands, cover duos, and cover solo artists regardless if you have originals stored away somewhere, or you play or sing like a young Joan Baez. If you are playing an original gig, then it is THEN possible to be eligible to be showcased.
2. Musicians/Artists who have been selected to be showcased, MUST seek permission from the venue or gallery organizer first, before letting us know so we can make the right arrangements. Failure to do so, and us getting rejected from the venue, will mean that you personally will be responsible for all costs that contributed to failed showcase.
3. If you are on Myspace or Facebook with original music up on it, we can only judge what we hear. If we think the sound recording is unsatisfactory, you will not be showcased.
Other Things:
1. You can request a DVD copy of the footage for your portfolio for free (postage excluded), and you can also order photos from our in-house professional photographer Ruwan De Silva from your gig.
2. Any footage shot though, is 100% owned by Trema Entertainmentâ„¢ Australia. and 106! Mediaâ„¢ Australia. So you will sign a release form before any shooting starts.
In hindsight, this is a fresh new way to promote young, up and coming artists and when everything is official and sweet, then no-one loses. We operate on sponsorship only, so your cooperation will allow us to promote you and your art with the greatest of ease.
