Ghost World a Duo founded on having fun and remaining lighthearted when it comes to making music, but also with vision and passion. Ghost World began out of a chance meeting in Ann Arbor, Michigan. John Marius one half of the Duo was Djing when Jeff Belfi from Blue Room Project approached to discuss his set. After the discussion they talked about the possibility of working on music with each other. Months had passed until they both got the time to at least meet up and talk about what they wanted to work on together. After many espressos and jokes they finally got to work.As they continue to work on music they are always looking for new inspirations. Their styles have ranged from ambient, to broken beat progressive, and with some straight up progressive music thrown in the middle. These styles will no doubt evolve with time and you can always count on a new melding of sounds and styles, when it comes to Ghost World.While Jeff was spending time in Michigan away from New York they got the chance to DJ alongside each other for many events. "The only aspiration was to work on music together once we started to DJ with each other the energy that we would find was like no one else I've ever heard.
