My fUsIoN dAnCe is very unique and different from other so-called fusion dances. My dance involves my mind, body, soul & spirit and dance moves from various cultures around the globe to create a mesmerizing, graceful, and seductive live expression. Like Belly Dance and many Latin Dances, the moves are initiated from the center of gravity (belly and hip area}. With the right music, rhythm, lyrics, and story collaborating closely with mind, body, soul, and spirit, I can create a most beautiful dance that brings out true emotions and mood. Keep in mind that I cannot execute these deceptively simple dance moves without my mind, body, soul, and spirit being 100% involved. Because of this, I can say my dance is not mere mechanical movements (like a lot of dances you see out there), it is a work of art, expressive art, or performing art as we call it. My dance evolutionizes with time, space, and environments, which means my dance moves vary from time to time and from place to place depending on occasion, space availability and types of setting, types of audience and theme of the event - I am adaptable to different environments and so is my dance (but due to my rebellious nature sometimes when I am in Rome, I do like the Parisians do, which means I don't have to be like you:). I am maybe very visible at nightclubs because of how I am and who I am - spontaneous, carefree, fun, playful, flirty, at times bitchy - but at the same time I can blend in the crowd easily and no one would notice me (unless they have a pen-size camera zoomed in on me and have someone followed my every move, which they have and I caught them many times). Even then, does a chameleon remind you of anything?
